Title: Which faucets do people prefer?
Post by: mikser64 on April 19, 2017, 01:02:06 AM
Are faucets with long claim delay popular? Or people prefere to claim often?
I'm going to start my own faucet, and found that longer time should be more profitable for me as an owner. As I can see, most of faucets are fast or avg (5-60 mins pre claim) and it hurts me a bit. What do you think?

P.S. Also, what about accumulative faucets with minimum amount to withdraw.

I prefer being able to decide how often I can claim so 5 mins timer is good to me. Most importantly, I only use faucets which partner with micro payment services such as Xapo.com and ePay.info.

I liked daily faucets or 8-12 hours countdown faucets. I claimed 8000 satoshis at once and 1000-2000 satoshis on many other faucets twice a day. Doing two runnings every day I was able to earn 0.001 BTC, what valued $0.40 at that time. It was a nice amount of satoshis without effort.

Now there isn't any long countdown faucet, all of them are fast faucets to claim every 5-20 minutes or maximum 1-2 hours... I think people aren't interested to claim pennies every few minutes, at least the most faucet users of old days are not.

@mrcash02,

You're welcome. I would like to add that I meant to say I prefer websites like Moonbit.co.in at where your ready-to-be-claimed satoshis increase overtime.

I think it's relatively clear that people prefer big amounts, even if they can only claim once a day.
After all, most people who use faucets consider it as kind of work.
And they need time for their work. Solving a low paying faucet takes about the same time than solving a high paying faucet.
If the time they need to do the job does not fit the payout, why would they do it?
And then you must keep in mind that you need the same amount of electricity to run your computer for high and low paying faucets.

I prefer faucets with average claim interval. I'don't like faucets with short timer, because if we want to earn decent amount of bitcoin, we need to solve captcha many times and it's annoying.
I don't know many faucets with long timer which pays high rewards, mostly such faucets gives something like 100 satoshi every 12 or 24 hours. Faucets with long timer don't pay higher rewards than other faucets.
If you set long timer between claims, user will visit your site only 1-2 times a day. Smaller traffic means low earnings from ads and you won't be able to pay high rewards.

Hmm. This poll is quite interesting. I always thought people liked the faucets with a 5-60 minute timer the most. I guess that's not the case.

What do you guys think about the rewards for 6 hours interval per claim?

What amount of satoshi would be worth it, for such a long waiting time? between 50-150 satoshi?

People liked 5-60 minutes countdown faucets before, when the rewards were good and possible to make a good profit hourly, now doesn't worth to claim few satoshis every few minutes, waste of time. It's better to claim half cent, 1/4 of cent every 8-12 hours...

I think a good reward for faucets with long waiting time (6-8 hours) is 200-250 satoshis.

Fast claim faucet is waste of time.
I prefer long claim faucet with bigger reward, we can do it to fill our free time.

P.S. Also, what about accumulative faucets with minimum amount to withdraw.

All of faucet owner should adopt wavesdrop , instant payment after task done.

For me it is the 2-3 hours with some active bonus or rewards like for having a 5days straight claiming you will have an extra bonus or a reward . Some people i saw they use more often the faucey rotator which you will click every seconds or minutes only to claim.

I personally like freebitco.in and moonbit.co.in, I click both of them each hour and I love the fact that moonbit keeps increasing your reward even if you're offline. Having some sort of gambling is also a plus for me.

I prefer a faucet that has a solve media so I do not have a lot faucet to choice
The time limit is not too important because you make a claim when you are at a computer that is not all the time

60 minute faucets are my favorite to claim, as I leave those open in a separate tab while I go about my business.

For example, freebitco.in is an hourly faucet, and the rewards are pretty shitty for being hourly, but I keep that tab open because it's so easy to claim every hour... Any faucet more frequent than that requires too much time on my part, and I don't feel like I have to be a "slave" to a faucet (having to check it every 5 min or 10 min, etc).

Another great thing about freebitco.in is the multiple ways to earn/multiply your bitcoin (such as lottery and dice game), as well as the rewards points, which equate to extra prizes and extra bitcoin.

My $0.02

I think that when it comes to claiming different faucets, it is actually a good idea to use the ones where you can complete a captcha for example once or twice a day.
They usually bring a really big amount of satoshis (if we compare it to those which are available to take every hour or 20 minutes) but the only disadvantage is that you can do it not so often-but there is a way to solve that.

If you actually want to not only lose your time on completing captchas, then you need to find many faucet sites to switch them every time you get sats from each one.
I suggest listing as many "long claims" ones as possible, it will increase your faucet gains dramatically.

I personally prefer all kinds of faucet.
Claim the long-term ones first and while you are waiting for them to refresh claim the short ones.
But that is if you are just doing faucet all day.
If you have other businesses to think about, just pick the long-term big-giving ones.

What kind of cell phone do you have?
When i went to moonbitco.in with the phone just got heated like crazy, and then the system crashed and thrown me out of the site and the internet so I could not even get one claim and prize have become very small over time, however, does not worth time anymore
