Title: making my GPU usable for OpenCL Post by: Geremia on April 25, 2013, 08:19:13 PM I get this error with BFGMiner:
bfgminer -n Here's my "bfgminer -D -d?":[2013-04-06 20:11:28] Failed to load OpenCL library, no GPUs usable [2013-04-06 20:11:28] 0 GPU devices max detected Code: [2013-04-25 09:47:31] ft232r_scan: Found 093a:2510 - not a ft232r Code: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0046] (rev 18) thanks Title: Re: making my GPU usable for OpenCL Post by: Geremia on April 27, 2013, 12:10:45 AM Also, what's a "ZTEX device"? thanks
Title: Re: making my GPU usable for OpenCL Post by: Oldgamer on May 09, 2013, 01:58:33 AM I am not an expert, but I had similar problem when OpenCL was not installed properly. you have to install ATI SDK.
You can check if you have OpenCL installed running GPU-Z program. Title: Re: making my GPU usable for OpenCL Post by: os2sam on May 09, 2013, 11:11:22 AM You need an ATI/AMD GPU.

OK he needs an AMD or NVidia GPU. He has an Intel GPU and these forums are full of threads about how they don't work. Have you seen a case where an Intel GPU mined successfully? To be realistic if he want's to GPU mine he needs an AMD. Title: Re: making my GPU usable for OpenCL Post by: -ck on May 10, 2013, 03:58:27 AM There are a very small number of integrated GPUs in newer Intel CPUs that can mine, but only on windows with the latest intel opencl.
However in terms of performance, they suck even bigger dicks than Nvidia GPUs do, so they're no better than CPU mining. Now go and read a billion other forum threads on why it's not worth it. Title: Beignet Post by: Geremia on June 12, 2013, 05:07:26 PM Beignet (https://github.com/sjnewbury/beignet) enables using OpenCL with Intel GPUs.
