Devcoin stayed at a steady .0002 USD for a while but they just bumped to .0003 USD, so I figured there should be a thread for updates like this...

Devcoins are getting close to .0004 USD ea :D Meaning you can get more than 20 for a penny :D 

I had millions of devcoins in this pool, but since they were worthless I left em at that pool and forgot them, the pool is now gone.

If you aren't sure what to mine, mine devcoins. The GH/s is 7,218.3109 which is over double what it has been sitting at for the past week, and I don't have the money to start mining yet, but I am pretty sure that means the block time has been cut in half, which means double fast earnings also if I am not mistaken... So Devcoin is GOOD to mine right now.

Plus, some of the devcoin pool goes to developers and independent artists. So your mining supports others. :)

You are mistaken.  Higher difficulty means more competition, and also that the difficulty will rise to keep the block time a constant.

DeVCoin is crappy to mine.

FinShaggy,  Devcoin needs a board to itself.  Of course there are 3 problems:

1.If it started from scratch it would have trouble getting a big enough audience to create a real community.  Most Alts have this problem.

2.This subforum is full and it is hard to thrive with so many coin fighting it out.

3. Devtome is great, but it not made to create conversation or to do commerce.

Solution:

 PPCoinTalk has a board that has a steady community and it is run by FuzzyBear.  You need to see if he is willing to add a subsection for Devcoin conversations and a market place.
