Title: Getting Hardware errors mining Litecoin Post by: MaxGen on April 26, 2013, 12:22:54 AM Can someone help me resolve my hardware errors when mining Litecoin?
I have 2 7950's in the rig. I can mine Bitcoin without the errors with a core of 1125 and a memclock of 975. Voltage is underclocked at 1.075V. With Litecoin, the following startup command is giving me lots of HW errors: Code: color 02 I think the core and memclock settings are tame, but I still get errors. My Voltage is 1.119, should I be increasing it? Even -g 1 is giving me hardware errors. Any suggestions would be aprpreciated. Thanks Title: Re: Getting Hardware errors mining Litecoin Post by: pajak666 on April 26, 2013, 12:57:28 AM try lower your intensity to sth like 13 maybe?
Title: Re: Getting Hardware errors mining Litecoin Post by: MaxGen on April 26, 2013, 01:27:00 AM Thanks, that helped. It reduced the errors a lot, but I still get some. I dropped intensity to 12 and is seems to have stopped the errors.
Problem is with Intensity 13, I get 500Kh/s and with Intensity 12, I get 400Kh/s... that's 200Kh/s I'm missing out on. I'll try playing with core and memclock on intensity 12 to see if it helps. SHA256 is so much easier... Title: Re: Getting Hardware errors mining Litecoin Post by: pajak666 on April 29, 2013, 12:57:47 AM https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=187907.0
