Hi im new to the forum, gusto ko lang po malaman may mga user po ba ng nicehash dito?

Profitable po ba or could you say its a good or bad to invest in it?

Hindi ko na sinama ang electricity bill used sa computation since calibrated ang kwentador ko sa bahay, with 3 aircon sa bahay I only pay around 800pesos per month. Assuming kahit running 24/7 ang PC it doesnt affect much sa electricty cost ko.

balak mo po ba iparent sa nicehash yung rigs mo? kung oo, ok naman yan, pwede mo iparent sa mas mataas na halaga kumpara sa actual na nakukuha mo kapag ikaw ang nagmine, yung iba irerent yan kasi gagamitin kadalasan sa solo mining at alt coin mining na gusto nila

For now plan ko ako muna mag mine, since im a total beginner in mining and bitcoin. Try ko siguro muna for a month habang pinag aaralan ang mga pasikotsikot.

I have tried mining my rx470 for almost 24hrs and got 0.001318btc or 80pesos (idk kung magkano nlng to kapag dumaan sa fees ng coins.ph or others fee that i dont know), maybe kapag pinag sabay ko ang r9 280x i would almost double it. Barya lang po ito pero its a good hobby na rin ang bitcoin mining.

Here would be my other concern, ok lang po ba ipag sabay sa iisang motherboard ang rx and r9? Im not a expert at computer and i dont want to risk damaging it. I know there is google but hoping may IT or computer expert sa forum na to that can help.

if you want to study and mine bitcoin, I suggest u know first the basics.. you can research about USB Block Erupter, an ASIC miner which started it all.. I have 6 pcs of it ,on hand and 2 Antminer S3. P80 pesos is a good start, but you should consider the electric bill your paying. Mining Bitcoins these days is not profitable and considering the network difficulty is too high, I've alredy stopped mining with hardware and shifted to cloudmining  but still cant see profit from it except if you have a big capital you can invest to it. but for a hobby, its totally cool.  ;D

for you rx 470 and r9 280x I think its possible to use it simultaneously, but you need to have a 1200 watt higher PSU to provide enough power to your GPU's. I'm not and expert but I'm an IT, and I have experience in mining with ASIC and GPU. If you MB supports 2 1x PCIE slot, you can buy some 1x PCIE  to 16x PCIE riser/extender for the GPU.

Electric bill is not really a problem to me, I have a friend who reversed engineered my electric meter and im only consuming around 1-3khw a day for a month. Im only paying 500-600 pesos or 10-15 dollars a month with 2 airconditioned room running almost 24/7.

Yesterday nicehash payed me 83 pesos or 1.7$ running more or less 24hours, statistically if with r9 it would have almost double since r9 and rx almost have the same generating income. And yes you are right I really need a big capital if i want to mine with significant profit which sucks =(.

Thank you for your input maybe i can try tomorrow to run 2 GPU's. Good thing my Motherboard supports 2 PCIE x16 connection and 2 x1 pcie, and other good thing i have a 1000watts platinum PSU which i think could run my 2 GPU's.

gud day po sir, first of all.. what coins are you mining? if its Ethereum, well then they have a support on their site or forums about which GPU is more likely to be compatible for Ether mining.. probably i would say it will be more likely to be the base idea for GPU mining cards for other coins, not sure but you can search for it on Google, not sure either if its available here in Phils online or local stores. Radeon or MSI k2lad kai Sir nin3tin.

Parang ginto na RX series ngayon, pahirapan. Kaya humanap nlng ako ng alternative GPU, bought GPU last week at PChub r9 Fury strix at 11k only at today lang dumating.

Chose r9 Fury kasi wala naman akong problema sa koryente since napaka mura dito sa Mindanao.

Sa buwan ng mayo, 3k ang bill namin sa meralco (9.80php/kwh). Napakamahal ng kuryente sa manila pang 3rd tayo sa buong asia na mataas ang singil sa kuryente.

So sabihin nating 1k php ang gastos ko sa kuryente para sa  24/7 kompyuter na to.

Puwede akong kumita ng 300php x 30 days - 1000 electric bill  = 8000 monthly income !

Pag nabuo ko yung 4x AMD 480 na mining rig. ilan kaya ang kikitain ko.

Ganda ng GPU mo 1070, yan ang target ko na GPU, pero as of now wala pa sa budget. RX series are almost impossible to buy these days, ma swerte ka kapag may nakita ka pa. Globasl shortage na ng RX series at kasama na si pinas, ibig sabihin nyan marami rin palang miners sa pilipinas. Hindi lang halata pero kasama tayo sa shortage ng RX series. As replacement ng RX series i chose 1060 6Gb not as efficient ng RX 4xx/5xx pero its still a good graphics card and the resale value is high. Also the h81 asrock wala atang ma bili nyan sa pinas, go with Z series board with 7 PCI slots. Ako i started with MSI b150m 3 slots lang pero upgraded it with asrock b250m k4 gaming which is 6 slots at a cheap price of 5500.

Kung nabasa mo sa first post ko, at first i started with 2 GPU my old r9 280x and new RX470. Now meron na akong 5 GPU RX470, RX570, r9 280x and r9 Fury strix at kakadating lang kanina 1060 6GB.

Sari saring mga videocards dahil hindi ko pa kayang bumili ng bultuhan, pa isa isa lang at kung anung GPU lang ang available sa shop.

Sir tanong ko lang po sana kung magkano yung minimum investment sa gpu mining? Yan din kasi yung gusto ko gawin dati kaso di ako sigurado at sabi nga nila na hinde daw maganda ang mining sa pinas kasi nga sa mahal ang kuryente. Nagcanvass na ako nyan dati kaso di ko na tinuloy kasi wala pa akong budget at di ko pa din alam kung magkano talaga ang magagastos sa set-up na di tayo malulugi. Yung kahit  300-500 pesos a day na kita magkano kaya aabutin na budget sa set-up ng rig at pc nun?

Hindi po ba nakakababa ng lifespan ng gpu ang ganyang klase ng mining? Baka kasi pagdating ng panahon imbes na kumita ka eh nalugi kapa kasi nagbreakdown na unit mo.

Dyan pumapasok ang warranty kaya mas advice talaga buy brand new. Kung second hand man atleast 6months up ang warranty, during that 6months 100% ROI na at doubled pa.

Kung gusto mo talaga marandaman ang kita sa mining 100k+ ang magandang investment. Yung mga nag sasabi na pangit mag mina sa pinas yan yung mga ayaw mag kompyut.

Bili ka 6 pcs GTX 1070 21k php total 126k php or hintayin mo nalang yung irerelease ngayong taon na "mining-only" nvidia cards.

Daily income per 1070 x 6                           = 214 PHP x 6 = 1,284 PHP
Daily power cost per 1070 x 6                      = 33 PHP  x 6 = 198 PHP
Daily profit (income - power cost) 1284-198   = 1086 PHP
Cooling Expense  3k per month for 1.0 HP aircon
Monthly profit 1086*30                                = 32,580 - 3k cooling expense  = 29,580 PHP
Get ROI after 4 months then enjoy free passive 29,580 PHP per month afterwards.

If you OC your cards and get the best settings on BIOS then you'll earn more than that. Other see mining as a hobby, spend hours a day optimizing and researching for your mining rig to get its full potential.

Better to have a small room with 1.0 horsepower aircon to store all your mining rigs.
Cooling Expense would be 3k per month for 24/7 aircon during hot days, or just use fan on upcoming rainy season. Keep GPU temps below 65-70 deg for nvidia and your GPUs will last for years.

All you have to do is monitor and check profitability of currencies and switch on what to mine whenever needed.

Better talk with the shop about warranty, iba iba yan per shop kung hangang saan covered ng warranty nila. Also pwde mo email ang GPU manufacturer mismo and talk about their warranty rules and regulation.

Baka sir wala cgurong cooler or walang ventilation yun video card kaya pumutok. Maaring namang pong ipalit sa manufacturer yun sir basta may warranty pa ang item.

meron e, nakikita ko kasi yung mga ganitong usapan sa cryptominers groups sa fb at mga marurunong naman yung mga yun, pero may mga VC talaga na mabilis daw tlagang masira at buti na lang covered sila ng warranty. pra sayo, nka experience ka na ba ng ganun?

Hanap ka ng shop na merong RX470/480 or high end graphics card, pero para sa akin un ethical yan kawawa business nila baka masira ang GPU. Hindi pa naman open case ang mga shops ang init ng GPU hindi makaka labas.

Subukan ko nga yan Ok naman yung specs ng mga pc dito sa amin nvidia yung graphics i think 2GB. Tanong ko lang ay kung pwede ba talaga gamitin yung shop for mining and yung videocard ba ay pwede kahit ilan sa motherboard basta may slot for mining?

Sorry was not active lately, i will post my update this coming teusday after my cashout. I will post 3 weeks update, since I wasnt able to post my result for 2 weeks straight.

ETH price is going down and mining is greatly affected still its giving profit its still safe to say mining is still good. ETH might go down but another coin will go up.

I started with 1 GPU, a second hand r9 280x bought for 5,500 pesos. After a week bought a RX 470 4GB for the purpose of mining during that time ETH mining was only around 80 php / day, i was already happy with that. Now i have 5 GPU, half of it was bought with mining and half was from my salary. Maybe a month from now  ill reach ROI, ETH mining is currently at 140-150 php/day right now, might go lower. Still its almost x2 from what i have originally started with from 80php/day.

Totally Agree lalo na rising ang mga ng ETH which RX gives a load of hashes at a cheap price. Maybe i joined at the right time, initially I started mining before tumaas ang ETH and wala pa Hype on GPU's RX pulse was just 9k at that time. Nasa 80 pesos lang per day now its at almost 200 php/day, thou last week was hell. RED DAYS for a week, ang sakit ng feeling mining at a very low rate.

Oo nga dami kong nakikita mga nag aarayan at nagsisipag bentahan ng mga gtx nila. Ganyan talaga ang risk sa mining medyo mabigat talaga sa kalooban kapag ganun ang palitan pero pag tumaas naman masaya naman .Tanong ko pala, magkano yung monthly bill mo sa kuryente?

Ang mura nga yan tapos ang laki pa ng kinikita mo. Naiinggit tuloy ako sa mga naka RX yung mga nauna nag mina. Kasi ngayon lahat ang mamahal na pero sure ako bababa presyo nyan lalo na kapag lumabas yung bagong GPU na pang mina talaga. Tapos ang mataas na presyo nung mga nag hohoard, may nagsabi sakin hinohoard lang ng mga store mga RX.

Actually Sir the GPU specific for mining 1060/RX variant ay pangit same performance lang sila and to make it worst 1month warranty lang at no video output. So 0 resell value, same price same performance but cheaper electricity si GPU for mining, pero not noticeable naman ang lower electric consumption since 1060/RX ay 1 6/8pin connection lang. talagang mababa ang consume nya, So mas prefer ko pa rin si normal GPU can resell and can be traded for future upgrade.

Parang ginto ang RX ang hirap hanapin, at almost 50% tinaas from its regular price. Before nasa 9k lang Sapphire pulse, now its at 13-15k =(.


Ether and decred, but since mataas ang rate ng Ether ngayon i mine directly at nicehash. Im being paid in BTC by nicehash, kapag mababa ang rate ng ETH/Sia i mine at pools. So i can hold them until tumaas ang value ng ethereum and siacoin. If at peak ang price ng BTC and ETH i get 1400 daily, but in average i mine at 800-900 / Day but in red days ng altcoins i get 600-700 php/day.

Bro, napansin ko lang 1060 6GB ka @ 21 Mh/s.. naka OC na ba yan? I have seen kasi nung 3GB hitting 21 pero 3GB lang.

3GB and 6GB gives the same hashrate, like RX series 4 or 8 gives the same amount of hashes pero kapag tumaas ang difficulty babagal na ang 4GB but 8GB will be affected too.

Mag minimum ka ng 4GB GPU if you want to mine, but even a GPU with 4GB will only last more or less by this dec or next year first quarter.
But even so if you will start this month ROI ka na by that time. What is important na simulan mo, at wag lang dismayado kung magkano lang ang kinikita mo by the end of the day, lalo na kung mababa ang market.

Thanks sir, hindi ko pinag sisihan pumasok ako sa line ng mining. A month or 2, break even na ako sa lahat ng nagasto ko, so pure profit na lahat ng kikitain ko. Advantage ko lang tlga naka bili ako ng GPU wala pang hype about ETH mining.

Currently building my first mining rig, hinihintay ko na lang pagdating ng 2 RX480 na naorder ko. Hopefully by the end of this month dumating na. Tapos dagdagan ko na lang ulit next month ng isa pang GPU, paisa isa lang para hindi mabigat.

I agree, kaya nga naka bookmark tong thread na to kasi dito ako mas intrisado. Sana may mga master pang magshare ng mga ideas nila about GPU Mining ng sa ganun madagdagan pa mga small ideas na meron tayo. Balita ko hindi na daw worth it ang crypto mining at mas maganda na daw ang mga signature campaign. Dahil mas worth it at hindi nakakapagod.

Sa iyong sytem nakita ko na meron ka lang isang gpu na gamit. Mahirap at hindi ito profitable dahil maliit lang ang capacity ng iyong system. Maipapayo ko na bumili ka ng mas maraming gpu para dumami ang iyong power ng pc mo. Ang mga successful na mga mining rig ay naglalaro sa mga 8-10 gpu ang laman. Kapag nagawa mo ito lalaki ang iyong profit pero tandaan mo na malaki ang presyo ng kuryente dito sa pilipinas. Good luck sa iyo at sana magkaroon ka ng malaking profit.
