Title: Transactions doesn't get any confirmations today?
Post by: Jartsu on April 21, 2017, 07:27:14 PM
Hey,

So I made couple of transactions. Some of them have decent fee, but after waiting hours they are still not confirmed. What is going on?

This transaction is already confirmed

This transaction only paid a fee of 0.00000120 BTC per byte.  That is a bit low and could delay confirmation.
Additionally, one of the outputs from this transaction is spent by the following transaction.  That following transaction CANNOT confirm until this transaction is confirmed.

This transaction only paid a fee of 0.00000133 BTC per byte.  That is a bit low and could delay confirmation.
This transaction spends an output from the previous transaction.  It CANNOT confirm until the previous transaction is confirmed.

Your transaction fees are a bit low.  They will probably confirm eventually, and you could use the ViaBTC accelerator to get them confirmed even faster, but because of the low fee it may take a while.

Hey,

But these 2 which I marked I can't use anything on them

Transaction c3f33d44ac65bf3352678fb3f9c8f01899daab67011cc547ffd6188305c2f3b4 has two outputs.

One of those outputs is 0.0004773 BTC assigned to address 1CL17DZU38vqWkqGpgaKm7snjdiFwnehbU.
That 0.0004773 BTC has already been spent by whomever has access to the private key associate with that address.

The other output is 0.0080675 BTC assigned to addresss 1PQwKUHBTUzYB62pwyYXkNFD8SGxp4anAk.
That 0.0080675 BTC has not yet been spent, and is still available to be spent by whomever has access to the private key associated with that address.

Transaction 782af1e26747f243de4a5a94f768ecf5f34d2959a6f28ccbc3c1e904d2abaa2c has only one output.

That output is 0.39738065 BTC assigned to address 17XsJkeeZ26Giv9ZDwLvQpk91MkiKSWnK2.
That 0.39738065 BTC has not yet been spent, and is still available to be spent by whomever has access to the private key associated with that address.

Are 1PQwKUHBTUzYB62pwyYXkNFD8SGxp4anAk and 17XsJkeeZ26Giv9ZDwLvQpk91MkiKSWnK2 addresses that your wallet maintains?  If so, then your wallet should be able to spend those bitcoins (although your wallet may require you to wait for the transactions to confirm).

Your transaction: c364f127f6b29be344eb704c19e3e4a9c92e480b279be1c059431d4e3932b804 (https://blockchain.info/tx/c364f127f6b29be344eb704c19e3e4a9c92e480b279be1c059431d4e3932b804)

is at the end of a long line of unconfirmed transactions that are all using retardedly low fees...

0.044 sats per byte?? :o ::) ???

The likelihood of any of those transactions ever being confirmed is practically zero... the fees aren't even big enough to use the ViaBTC TX accelerator.

Your options are:

1. Try a "Child Pays For Parent" if you control the address 1G5DbixGxDAuTHFzyacirpKPxpWAUVgKcE and can send the 0.02437 BTC output from it with a MASSIVE fee that would cover all 6 of those transactions...
2. Try and do a "Replace By Fee" if the transactions were sent with RBF enabled
3. Contact one of the mining pool operators that frequents btctalk and see if you can pay them to include your transaction in a block.
4. Wait until all those transactions drop out of the mempool (2 or 3 days) and try and send them again, but with proper fees.

Hey,

Thanks for your explanation. Sadly I don't have an access to 1G5DbixGxDAuTHFzyacirpKPxpWAUVgKcE , it was a deposit address. Seems like only way solving it, is to wait until they drop out of mempool.

Thanks for help everyone!
