i'm confident that you are wrong. $90 is the minimum feasible, there's extremely strong support there, so no-go for 80-90

121 floor has been tested atleast 5 times already, always bounces back from there, i hope it's a good sign that we are still within the 120 - 160 range. Those of you wishing for a massive crash don't realize your greed/wish for buying cheap coins and your constant calls for a major crash will only drive away investors and speculators into another commodity. Bitcoin will then totally go under the radar until another country collapses and (if) the media brings bitcoin into limelight again, which means whatever "Cheap" coins you buy won't appreciate much in price for a while. Also another major bitcoin crash and loss of confidence will give more reason for it to be replaced by another possibly superior cryptocoin, which then also means bitcoin will always remain undervalued.

No it isn't. You should stop assigning importance to things you have absolutely no control over. That's just setting yourself up for a lot of stress. And IMHO crazy speculative valuations do more harm than good in any case. The real value of bitcoin is what you can buy with it, not what "commodity investors" think about it.

You are mistaken. Every crash is a buying opportunity in my book. I'm in this long term, and if we go to $20 I would still be way up compared to my initial investment... and I would take the chance to buy a shitload of coins that would go directly to cold storage.

I remember the big crash from $266. Look at the daily chart for April 10/11 it looks very much like the current situation, we're just getting started on the second red candle and so far $120 has held out.

People were saying the exact same things on the second red candle after the dip from $266. It will never go down, hold your coins, etc

It did go down lower than $100 and reached $50 in the end.

This can happen again easily all it requires is a lot of peple to sell.

However low it goes it will bounce many many times.

Back on the daily chart this current situation looks like the first bounce in a larger crash which is taking a few weeks to play out.

The first top was $266, the second one $144.99, the third top is anyone's guess at the moment.

You can't just call "a bottom" you need to specify a time-frame.

And not every downwards movement is a 'crash'.

The only reliable rule with trends seems to be (in my very humble opinion) that as soon as people see the shape of the trend we are in, they have ended it by recognising it and altering their actions.

A bit existentialist for a Friday morning I know :P but I am a firm believer in the power of mass psychology in money markets.

The price is going to fluctuate a lot for a very long time, but despite what I've said over the past 2 years, I think chances are good the price is going to continue up overall.  All that development on the infrastructure, making it scalable and more robust, is just beginning and things are looking promising.

But did you remember to use the "advanced analysis tool" (6 pixel wide brush) when you drew your trendline? That's the most important part of it!

I think that the moment anybody (including me) sees a price below $100 they will start piling in. So while it might go down to $95-ish, or in a flash-crash scenario potentially even $90, I think the likelyhood of ever staying for more than 1 day under $100 is ridiculously low.

at this point it looks like $120 is a solid floor. poising for a bullish breakout from this consolidation pattern -- $140 is the magic number.
