A little search before taking action will help alot, cpu mining isn't profitable now you need a gpu rig , alot of altcoins are good to mine you should search for the best according to your rig specifications and electricity rate in your area (some algo draw more power than others), you can exchange your alts to bitcoin using poloneix or any other cryptocurrency trading websites...again some search will help...Im new here and just would like to ask if it is still okay to mine altcoins or it is too late? http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency Those are 2 good sites to check out. You can see some of the more profitable coins to mine right now. You arent too late, maybe yes for btc but there are a lot of other alts to mine that can be profitable if done right Title: Re: [Newbie] Planning to start mining altcoins in Philippines Post by: philipma1957 on April 23, 2017, 01:08:33 AM if you point your gpu miners to nicehash either Eth coin or Zec coin they will auto convert to btc.
I was stationed in the PI in the early 80's for s few months. USN Back to mining. PI is hot and humid do you have a way to move the heat out of the room? what does power cost you 10 cents a kwatt is good enough for mining. next question what are gear prices there? a small 3 card rig here would be 600 for 3 cards 80 for a motherboard 120 for a psu 30 for an ssd 25 for ram 60 for a cpu Title: Re: [Newbie] Planning to start mining altcoins in Philippines Post by: ytrewq09 on April 23, 2017, 06:55:48 AM Hi guys! Thanks and have a good day :) Thank you for your reply, im currently researching about altcoin mining and planning to build one, but what is my concern is maybe im too late to farm altcoins and to convert it in bitcoin. What i want is to have an alternate income aside from working and i think this may be a wayout. May i ask if your a miner yourself? |
