Do you also eat shit because you don't choose to not eat it, Matthew? Nah, didn't think so.

If one reaches the reasoned conclusion that some people are on here just to spread FUD, and that they have shown to have nothing at all to contribute to one's understanding, then one is very much in one's right to ignore the shit out of them!

Censorship is when someone else tells one whose opinions one can or cannot read.

It was said mostly in jest. I'm all for low noise to signal ratio (through moderation). I've never put anyone on ignore though, I think needing to put people on ignore has always reflected on people's emotional maturity.

Perhaps, or on how busy they are and how much spare time they have to devote to things like silly online fora.

It's reasonable to assume that not everyone has as much time as me (http://www.youtube.com/user/BitTalkTV). :)

I'll just start creating as many sock accounts as I can then and spread bearish propaganda with all of them.

Oh wow, that's nasty. I just posted in the Meta forum wondering why the hell you were ignored. I do believe a long-ass ban is in order for these shenanigans.

Arepo please delete that quote from your post.

But not for a thread like this? Calling on all other forum members to ignore 3 users?
I love the hypocrisy around here.

He didn't force anybody to do it underhandedly like you did. Enjoy your ban. I didn't even have you on the ignore list until now.

I didn't force anyone to do it. Their browser did.
Who's gonna ban me, you? I don't see your moderator status...

I deleted it. Please note that exploiting this might be a bannable offense - I have forwarded this to theymos for patching. Any further malicious exploiting of this will earn a ban for the moment.

In case you didn't see this, this entire subforum is filled with threads like this as the local moderator is MIA. The most it might get is getting a free move to Off-Topic.

Both.  And word to the mod: OP ought to also be now be edited, even those are required-clicks (a world of difference), it is of the same ilk.

I'll happily volunteer to moderate in his place. I'll clean this place up in no time.

Drat, just noticed that he has spammed the ignore exploit at the newbie subforum. Thanks for the report - banned him for the moment and going damage control now. Theymos can unban him later after reviewing.

Well, the OP is quite obvious with the links and it wasn't covered or redirected. I'd say it's different here.
