Title: Is bitminer.io a Ponzi? Post by: BitcoinNational on April 24, 2017, 02:26:58 AM https://bitminer.io/s/logo.png (https://bitminer.io/1923749)
I can not see how this is not a Ponzi. https://bitminer.io/1923749 Yes it is a slick reff link. But I am also researching how this is an efficient business model. You give them an BTC address and then they just pump 'free' BTC into it. At 2 satoshi/minute. Free lunch? Well there is the first obvious check point is that can not withdraw until you earn 0.005 BTC. As far as I can tell that is about 10-12days. This seems to be the bait. And the wait, the trick to spur the impatient. The dashboard has a clever graphic illustrating your cartoon avatar getting rich, how? Just send more BTC to earn 'faster'!! If you send them 5btc for the super-elite-extra-deluxe membership they are promising 1 BTC per day return. ::) The claim is that they've been running for +1year. They promise what, 40 satoshis a minute for free? Let's do some math. 40* 60 * 24 = 57,600 satoshis free every day. Now let's count the amount of work you do to receive said funds: 0. There are no ads. (Not that a measly ad will earn almost 60K satoshis a day from one user). There is no purchase required. How can they afford to give away free money like that? Simple answer, they can't/don't. Remember: If it sounds too good to be true, it almost assuredly is. |
