Remember mm is a forking change, it requires code support in the coin and enough people to switch to that version to get it to do so. I have yet to hear of anyone making a mm scrypt coin. The way merged mining works with bitcoin and namecoin is that the namecoin block chain agrees to accept a special transaction hash in the bitcoin block as proof of work for a namecoin block.

All merged mined coins, regardless of which hashing algo they end up using, would benefit if from time time time a recent version of bitcoin was taken and the merged mining patches applied to it. I knew it from the Trollbox. People tryed to get others in for the minning. While I knew, I laughed it off and continued to mine only litecoins for a week. Who is to blame that I have only a few hundred FC now??? Is it the Developer? |
