Currently trying to mine ltc and I'm not sure how to tell if it's working. litecoin-qt is running and several miners using cpuminer 2.2.3 are connected and hashing - but that's all I see, a hash rate.

Well one popular speculative theory holds that the newish coins your mining with ltc will go up in value like btc once did. Idk. To me it's like comparing dimes and nickels, until nickels end up later on being used on someone's monopoly board as $20 chips, and dimes are used as housing sublet counters. No?
