Title: Advertising revshares and posting about my new programme?
Post by: siddartha1492 on April 27, 2017, 06:27:03 AM
Hello Everyone
I wanted to know if and where I can advertise any revshare or other online earning programmes. The last time I did saw some options to advertise such sites, but was blocked, maybe because I posted in the wrong category. Now, this time, I don't see any advertising section for revshares and all. Also I am launching a new site, which would be a hybrid online earning site. I want to know where can I promote (on bitcointalk) that as an admin of that site.
Thanks
Siddartha

You can promote it on the micro earnings section but be careful. If it's a revshare or hyip you risk to get a negative feedback on your account. Most people here do not like these kind of websites, me neither. Post there only if it is a legit website which is not based on new people joining your program, any referral based programs most of the time fails. This type of websites you want to promote , you can promote it better to a better audience in PTC and TE sites.

Basically I have 2 questions. Where can I do the below on Bitcointalk forums.
1) Where can I advertise revshare sites (like an affiliate marketer) with my ref links?
2) Where can I advertise my own site as an admin, without any ref link? This site would be a combination of revshare, gpt, ptc, exchanger, altcoin etc.

Sorry for asking such details, but better ask then be blocked from this forum.

1) You can put your affiliate link in the signature space of your account (mine is COINROLL-Bitcoin Gambling)

2) You can do so at the service section but as always be careful, you will not be blocked or banned for this activity on the forum but your account will receive negative feedback if your website has anything to do with hyip or ponzi schemes.

So this means that there is no thread for starting new topics with ref links. But I guess signature is also not bad.
Thanks you Swogerino, so much for your comments.

If someone wants to provide related info to this question, they are also welcome. But Swogerino, has also explained everything very nicely.

As far as I know, revshare businesses seldom receive positive reviews. That is because they don't usually have a normal product to sell and they pay old members with money earned from new members' purchases. In other words, their business model is usually "ponzi scheme".

If your revshares business is legit and you want to promote it, you would need to present a good explanation about how it is legit. With people's impressions on revshares being generally negative (except for some people who don't know much about making money online), they would be likely to label one such business as scam immediately if they don't see a good explanation.

As to where to promote it, that depends on the amount of the reward your business provides. But since your business is revshare, the amount of the reward can't be micro, can it? So the place to promote it would be Service Announcements (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=84.0).

Referral links are usually discouraged because they can encourage spammy posts which are only there to get referrals.

The closest you can get is Investor-Based Games, which is mainly for Ponzis, matrix schemes and other bullshit investments but revshares could be okay there.  You could also post on Services if you're providing or asking for one.

If you post a dodgy service or you don't offer a clean link too or in loads of other situations, while you won't be censored, you will probably get negative trust.  I'd tread lightly if I were you.

I doubt advertising a ponzi is very effective here...

Checking out his signature, there are some extremely dubious looking programs he's promoting.  One of them claims to be the "first Bitcoin revshare" which somehow claims to have BTC400 despite the terrible design.

I am also into revshares programs and I understand that here in this forum members are frowning such a business model. Practically, there is no revshares that was introduced in year 2000 that are still existing today, therefore, we can say that it is just for a short-term period. One revshare is now already two years old and this is quite a good feat to start with considering that many do not last even one year and many admins ran with their members' money.

It should also be pointed that there are many veteran online marketers in some revshare company but mostly there are newbies who might not be aware of the real revshare industry that is just for short-term and not really for a long haul. There is money to be made here but we have to be careful.
