Are there any altcoin traders who actually make money on the long run?

What you mean by the term decent ? Do you think traders who are all sharing their secrets and strategies are the decent people ? I guess you are meaninglessly using the term 'decent'.

I believe just having some strategies will not work anywhere. All you need to have knowledge, without knowledge your strategies will never work for you. I suggest you to start your trading with demo trading right away. Strategies are available everywhere you can find them and use them for your demo trading.

When you are actively involving into trading for free of cost (thanks to demo accounts), you will be finding opportunities to learn more than what you are actually looking to learn from others secrets.

I've made quite a bit of profit on Litecoin and Dash the last couple of weeks.
With Dash, there wasn't a real strategy that I was using, I just decided to invest in Dash a couple of months ago and wait until the price went up.

Now with Litecoin I waited to buy until I saw some progress in the segwit activation and decided to buy when they were at around 4 or 5 dollars. So just keep yourself up-to-date with the altcoin's roadmap and upcoming features etc.

I am only a coin holder but I do consider myself as a crypto trader. I hold new coin, ICOs coin, token base on ethereum smart contract and wait for the prices to go up. Most of them always go up at least 2 times. So I can easly earn 100% with them

1. of course there are! otherwise nobody would have been left trading. someone has to make profit. i am making profit but small amounts since i am no professional and take things slow.

3. i look for news or better call it hype. because altcoins are only pump and dump which means when there is a hype they will get pumped for sure even if it is a little pump. otherwise i am all in bitcoin and enjoying the 150% yearly rise.

2. There is no monthly average. Sometimes 7% in a day, sometimes 1% or less.

3. I don't hold anything for long at all. If you see any profit, sell and put in another lower buy order.

Other than that I'm not sharing my secrets because they work well for me. Don't ever keep your money on an exchange. Withdraw even if the fees are a pain. Someday you'll be happy if/when that exchange is "hacked" or funds are stolen.

There are altcoin traders who actually make money in the long run. A trader can't say in exactly or in a certain way on how much percentage of profit he earn for a time of period since trading is market based, hence it's not consistent. Strategies can be ascertain by only himself since everyone of us have different style of strategies. Altcoin is worth of investing if you choosw the right one and you bought it at great price which is not high.

Updated news is important if you want to trade bitcoin last month it was dash and Monero this month is litecoin, if you keep following the trend you will now which coin to invest, and trading alt coin for a long run still profitable and you can make a good profit every month

With altcoin trading all you need is the analysis and the long price chart of the coin growing with respect to time scale. With this you yourself can find the potential altcoin and invest to make good profit. This could help you profit little at the beginning and move forward depending on the investment you make further.

I only make big trades on good cryptos. The random ones are very bad to buy into and out of, because you can't make very much. ETH is a very good one (was at least) when it was cheaper.

Check in altcoin sections or check the traders in yobit or the altcoin exchanges. If you wish to secure your trade check in Google for altcoin trader around your location. If you look for stretegies in trade, Just you need to have good escrow in all your trades. This will secure both parties payment in one channel.

Yes there are many who make money in long term.
You just need to research about the community and the progress roadmap taken by an altcoin.

I have been in forex for the past 8 years and from experience I can tell you that trading is a games of skills and knowledge! Those who make money from either forex, stocks and crypto currencies are professional and for you to become a professional trader you must spend time developing your skills the way am athlete developed they skills through training. Simple truth, trade demo until you see the crypto currencies markets as a fields'.

This is practical. No one could find shortcut to become successful trader within a day. We need to experience trading by ourselves so that we can find which are all suiting up to our knowledge level and grasping power. If we are trying to learn from others knowledge, it will work only up to some level but definitely will not fetch the exact results what we are looking for.

Altcoin trading will not be a complete new thing, experience in any trading platform will help to make profits in altcoin trading too. But there are some hidden methodology which are specialised only for altcoin market, but it will be available to learn only through experience.

You will not be interested to that in the first place if you see read mostly that altcoin trading can't make money on a long run. And there will be no ICO's now if altcoin trading are not worth it since devs will see it as not worth their effor to developed or to scammed lol.


For profit duration, it's not fixed since we have thing called "price volatility". The outcome of the strategy will depend on price behaviour of a certain coin. The behaviour might be roller coaster or idle for even months.



Strategies vary per trader. Actually no need to copy other's strategy as while you are doing this kind of activity regularly, you can make your own strategy on how to deal with the price fluctuations of a certain alts. How they know if an altcoin is worth investing? Taking the risk if they feel it's worth to try.

I'm an altcoin trader and i make at least 50% of my capital per month in just doing altcoin trading. Altcoin trading is worth investing in because its market is very volatile and its easy to make money with that especially if you know how to ride the waves of whales in the market because most of the times, hype is happening in the market and if you are updated to the news then you gonna make a lot of profit.

Yes I could made good profit on trading altcoins on poloniex, usually i could got profit about 5% monthly from capital

my secret in trading is just patience and follow the trend of price.

yes there are many.
i have been making profit from early days. small amounts but still counts as profit.
you just have to start small and try to make better decisions each time you make a trade. and don't be afraid of losing money, instead lose small and learn why you lost that and try not to lose next time.
the only strategy in altcoin market is to learn about things that can cause a rise and that can only be learned from spending time around.
