Is it possible to change the profile name ?

Unless you are a staff member, donator, or VIP member, you cannot change your profile name whenever you want. You will need to ask one of the admins to change it for you, but they usually do not grant such requests.

You could just start a new account. I know you have built up a lot of posts, but that might be the only way.

If you really don't want to just go ahead and start a new account, just spend some time building your reputation here and request a name change in a couple of years, if you are a solid member of the community and you have a good reason to want to change your username then theymos will change it, i think I've seen that happen once already.

It is possible but it is done in a case by case basis so it is likely your request is going to be denied, but personally the name does not indicate anything about you, so unless you want to start some kind of business and change your name, I don’ see a reason to try to change your user name.

It's pointless to include the name of Mitchell since he is only a staff member -- being staff member doesn't allow him to do anything in this matter. It's up to the administrators to force through name changes (if they ever happen to grant you such a chance).

It's only a Full Member account with 140 posts, if he's that concerned about his username he could start a new account & be at Full Member account in no time.
