It seems that a old faucet site turning to ponzi site this time, I dont think if where do they get bitcoin to pay to their upcoming users while they are only get their profit from the ads of their site so beware and stay away

Anyone who is dumb enough to fall for something as utterly ridiculous as this deserves to lose their BTC, and I am not trying to be an asshole.

The only way they could have made it more obvious is if they put a massive title in big, bold red, saying SCAM!!!

Why would you believe this type of emails that ask for you to deposit before giving you your prize in the first place  :)

Fact is that these guys have been running faucets for years if im correct, both on websites and on mobile apps in the playstore, and appstore. People might actually think this is real.

You are talking about this site, http://www.bitcoinaliens.com/ am i right @OP?

Its last update was months ago. Weird. It seems that they are sending their most active users emails about their doubling scam?

I'll send BitcoinAliens owner a message.

I highly doubt that this is from him.  It's either spoofed (most likely case) or someone hacked his e-mail.

Never ever ever send anyone bitcoin requested from an e-mail without confirming exact details and legitimacy first.

Hi Guys, thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm the owner of BitcoinAliens.com and this is 100% NOT US.

Recently our database on one of our sites - www.bitsforclicks.com was compromised, we're finding out about this right now and have locked the site down while we repair. And yes, the hacker is using our brand name and spoofing emails as us :(

This is not us, we will never email you asking you to deposit to "double your btcs". I will never personally ask you for any bitcoin in private message, or email or any online request.

Please stay vigilant and stay safe, don't send any bitcoin!

Dan

Thanks for commenting and confirming this did not come from you. @DogeDigital - thanks for contacting bitcoinaliens.

As stated by everyone else, never respond to anyone willing to "Double your BTC" - it is always a scam. Always. Don't be a victim.

There are other, legitimate ways of making money either on or outside this forum, either by offering goods you have for sale, a service that others want and will pay for, and a plethora of other methods. Be honest, don't screw people over, and with enough hard work you will make money.

I received a lot of emails like that but never believe it unless, they stated it in their home page or official social media site and beside I don't go for ponzi scheme or doubler once a site invited me to try this program I deleted it to my list

It is better to confirm it to the administration of the site just to make sure that it is legitimate like in this case. At least the real owner stated that it is not their doing but instead another person who wants to scam and defame the site which is hitting two birds with one stone. Better to be safe than sorry by being overcautious when it comes to this kind of things.
