Hi OP I'll join. May I know when is the deadline? Any color preference? .2BTC is kinda attractive. I think many btctalk designers will join on this one.

How about making a contest like this?
1st Place: .1BTC
2nd Place: .075BTC
3rd Place: .025BTC

Total: .2BTC

Instead of .2BTC for only one person?

Creating this will give you more designers to join, more logo mockups.

lol, a chance at 0.2 BTC?  So if 100 people enter then they have a 1% chance of winning, so the average person's effort is worth only 0.002BTC or $2.66 to you?  I guess you don't really value people's time.

Absolutely no color pref. We will adapt color style to the GUI client if we need to.

Deadline is quite "elastic" ( ;) ). We will wait a week for submissions. After that if topic will be quiet for 2 days (no new submissions) we will create a poll or elasticracy (bitcoinocracy equivalent)

Thanks Unvoid, noted about the color. I am about to create my entries. May I know what is Elastic all about so we can create a fit logo design for it? I guess this is a new altcoin right? or what?

Elastic is a decentralized supercomputer. Something similar to Golem (but we are doing this in whole different way). People can create a job with Elastic programming language and submit it to the network.

I think you should give an example of the Elastic logo you want in this case, so that everyone knows and understands how to make in an attractive logo. Perhaps with such people who follow no difficulty in making this logo.

I think he is right Admin, I have just seen a couple of logo submitted in your thread. Since we are in a forum, and we dont have a rating tool for submitted entries. Much better if you could post a couple of good logos that will served as our reference.  ;D

Actually we have voting tool that is independent. Only XEL holders will be able to vote.

There was similar contest while back (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1460926.0). Is it same project? I can already see that quite a few logos(including mine and most popular "diamond") where stolen/taken from that old thread. Lots of controversy is associated with this name (https://www.google.pl/search?q=bitcointalk+elastic&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&ei=DosLWf-EGa7i8AeA-LCwBA#q=elastic+project+scam), kinda bad sign. Now, all this plus special off forum contest with big prize... that's a blinking warning light, at least for me. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to FUD this thing, just asking questions and reporting concerns.
In case I'm totally off with my suspicion -> sorry :)

This "controversy" was at ICO. Some people (i.e. -Greed-) dosen't seem believed then that this project can happen. If you find more fresh controversy, not the ones that was year+ ago please drop me a link to it.
