Post by: mining1 on April 28, 2017, 12:21:33 PM Ethereum has 12 confirmation. First confirmation usually comes after ~15sec tops, with normal fee. More confirmations are usually needed for other type of transactions, like sending to an exchange.

Why is it so high like 36 Quote 12 confirmations; however, exchanges and entities handling very large amounts of Ether frequently are still encouraged to run two different Ethereum implementations and only accept transactions that have been confirmed by both for maximum security (e.g. Go & C++). More confirmation by the exchange to keep the secure transaction for his service. |
