Yeah the site is legit but as he mentioned the website didn't pay few people because they had earned profit. So if you bet 1 btc which is 1300$ approx and if barcelona wins you will get 1560$ which should be withdrawn and should not be used again to bet.

Regardless the nature of Bitcoin payments as a regulated operator we are obliged to ID verification, KYC and AML (anti-money laundering) procedures by the regulator at certain withdrawal levels.

We have stated this clearly in our Terms & Conditions page available here –
https://sportsbet.io/about/general-terms-and-conditions
3.3.3. Sportsbet reserve the right to carry out additional KYC verification procedures for any withdrawals exceeding the equivalent of 10 Bitcoins or €2300 which ever is lower, and further reserves the right to carry out such verification procedures in case of smaller withdrawals, as demanded by our gaming license. Account Holders who wish to recover funds held in a closed, locked or excluded account, are advised to contact Customer Support.

On that case Sportsbet.io gave back the deposit the guy made (15 BTC), but he lost the profit made (6.5 BTC), didn't have losses, but didn't have any profit... On his case Sportsbet.io applied the argument to use additional KYC verification procedures because the withdraw was superior to 10 BTCs and said the guy failed on this procedure, etc...

If you are betting low and aren't dealing with much money I think you are safe without complications on procedures... Althought the nasty situation, the site is working, paying and continue having some reputation, I would use that for gambling. But if the mentioned situation bothers OP, he should look for another site.

If sportsbet.iomis trusted, why there is a legit scam accusation against the admin account and also why does he got negative trust? It is because he witheld the withdraw of someone that won big, which isn't fair in my eyes. I would say use directbet.eu to bet on sports, they are way less shady.

This site had a bit of issues when they denied a user his/her profits without any proper basis.
I would not risk my one bitcoin on such a site but yeah there are tons of other sites, which though I am not advertising but I would suggest you to try them.

Directbet : Pity odds but the fairest of all sportsbook
Nitrogen : Perfet odds and fair too but sometimes limited market.

Take time to educate yourself on different bitcoin based gambling sites and their reputations by visiting our gambling section. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0)

I used sportsbet.io's services in the past and never got ripped off or had problems. But others are not that lucky.
Check out this topic, read it well: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1718397.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1718397.0)

Also this info about sportsbet.io and BitCasino.io might be interesting: https://game-protect.com/sportsbet-bitcasino-io/ (https://game-protect.com/sportsbet-bitcasino-io/)

Read it, and then you will decide if you want to bet.

I recommend Nitrogen Sports instead, it offers better privacy & security and from what I noticed also better odds.

Based on his trust summary and seems sportbet is not trustworthy right now. He has not resolved the scamming accusation. I can become a real evidence for you to stay away from using them at this time. Or you can try another one from my signature.  :D

I heard that this site is scam better to stay away with this site.. since they are not promoting via signature and i think they are always halving a problem and issue before.
So your 1 btc better to bet it in other trusted site like direct bet and nitrogen sports

The site has some negative feedbacks about them not paying out users so I suggest that you don't bet on that site because although they have paid out the user's deposit that was only after he started a scam accusation against the site.

Plus you are betting 1 BTC, meaning that your money is more at risk.

Just use nitrogensports or Directbet, they have never had any troubles.

Yet they still have a score of 3.53 on the user ratings here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1820529

So for a bet that large I wouldn't risk it to a site that asks for kyc after you have banked some profit from their site and then delaying to pay you due to not asking for this in the very first place when you registered for an account.
That is just wrong at so many levels.

Their representative here in Bitcointalk has a negative reputation until now and I don't know if it was resolved or not. You should bet I think on other reputable betting site just to be sure. Also, the Barcelona match against Espansyol is now finished with Barcelona being the winner. Have you had the time to bet your 1BTC for that match?

You clearly know nothing about Sportsbet.io. Sportsbet.io will ask you to provide your document to withdrawal exceeding 2300 euro, try to bet on Sportsbet.io with small amount only if you won't to provide any document. Also this. (https://game-protect.com/sportsbet-bitcasino-io/)

Exactly if OP is ready to provide some documentation to have his account verified am sure he would have no problem

But my advice to you is to read their terms and conditions thoroughly to avoid any bottlenecks using the sportsbook

I would rather suggest you to use nitrogensports.eu or directbet.eu to not go through all possible hassle regarding KYC policy sportsbet.io have.  They are known to pull out hidden terms out of nowhere regarding account verification if anyone win big.

Sportsbet.io so far is still here with us no matter a lot of problems with the 21.5 bitcoin scam accusation. They returned the deposit to the original user and kept 6.5 bitcoin of his profit with the argument that the user did not qualify with his verifying documents, didn't pass KYC according to sportsbet.io

I hope you had win your bet but next time when you want to bet really big amounts bet on directbet as they don't care about KYC, they tell you max bet for an event before betting on it. It is simpler here.
