Title: Avast reports pooler's cpuminer 2.2.3 as trojan
Post by: wanderingmonster on April 27, 2013, 06:28:42 PM
I attempted to download pooler's cpuminer 2.2.3 direct from sourceforge. Before the download started Avast flagged it as a trojan. I then checked the file on virustotal and found another couple of hits.
I'm presuming it's unlikely these archives contain malware.

Can someone confirm that these Avast malware flags and results on virustotal are false positives?
Maybe the developer(s) should be made aware of this issue.
