Title: WattTool : WattMan - DownVolt
Post by: drrobert on April 29, 2017, 02:39:43 PM

I tried to downvolt my nitro+oc 480 4g without success:

The main problem that i discovered with gpu-z it is card use max value between gpu and memory volt.
As you know you can't go lower then 960 (1000 default) mvolt on memory or not working good, instead cpu can be down 920 (1000 default) without issue.
Then if you setup on bios then flash, or use wattTool / wattMan with 920 mvolt for gpu and leave default 1000 mvolt for memory. On gpu-z when claymore work will show 1000 mvolt, if you try to use -cddri 920 will be the same if you use also -mddri 960 you will see 960 mvolt on gpu-z, i would like to go on 920 cause i'll save +10watt for each card.

I think my cards use same voltage regulator for both or i dont' have idea cause i have 8 cards and all have this issue.
Somebody have same issue with other cards? or it is normal for this card? cause i see people with 470 can edit them

Less that 960mv memory works fine on most if not all my cards
