"Implement" is an interesting way of thinking about it.  There's a group, co-led by Craig Wright that's going to propose to the local government that they adopt bitcoin as their official currency.

I don't think this is a good idea. It could lead to the general public thinking that bitcoin became the currency of some small Caribbean islands.

Small Caribbean nations such as Antigua, Dominica, and Grenada will be most sympathetic to the Bitcoin technology. They are having a very attractive citizenship for investment program. It will be great if they accept payment in BTC for this citizenship.

Yeah, and much of their income comes from tourism and off-shore gambling operations...both of which do well when they accept a global currency.

I agree with this. They seem to rely mostly on those industries so any way to encourage more money to come in would be good. I don't even think those countries are heavy on exports and business outsourcing so this could help them get more money in with minimal effort. I sure hope they diversify though, those industries are not really always reliable since a sluggish world economy might reduce the number of people willing to go spend their money there.
