I traded in my bitcoins for CDN dollars, but now how do I get it out without erasing the balance with fees? Dwolla is for US residents only.

For Canadians there are better exchanges. Virtex - cavirtex.com (http://cavirtex.com) and the one I prefer - libertybit.com (http://libertybit.com). So, I would say buy your bitcoins back in MtGOX, open an account on one of those exchanges and transfer the BTC there. Sell them there and withdraw by direct deposit/wire/Interac and what not. Actually made more BTC than what I originally sold Mtgox (price went up I guess!), then transferred it to Liberty. I''ll mine for another week or so and then see how their EMT process goes. Thanks!
