Title: 7870 help, Lite coin Post by: basscent on April 27, 2013, 10:01:52 PM I have two 7870's, and I can't get them past 300 kHash mining litecoin.
using a guiminer script, with -Thread concurrency 8192 -worksize 256 -Vect 1 -intensity 12 -gputhread 1 , I get around 290khs. Using cgminer With settings of " setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 SET GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer --scrypt -o pool:port-u user -p password --shaders 1280 --intensity 13 --worksize 256 -g 1 --lg 2 -thread-concurrency 8192" I get about 40. Title: Re: 7870 help, Lite coin Post by: bigscot on April 27, 2013, 10:56:54 PM I do not have much direct experience with cgminer but my buddy was saying he was getting bad hashes per sec if he 'drove it to hard'. Try a lower intensity some more, that does not work take a look at your cooling that sometime can cause issues.
Just a side note, those numbers are about what he is getting from his 7850 (i know you said 7870), 300ish. It just says starting cgminer for a while, flashes some text and instantly closes. I've only gotten one program really working (guiminer scypt) and it does it rather slow for my particular card.
