How you see XMR will evolve in the next month?
But later in this year?

In crypto anything can happen.   But in general you cant expect any flashing news from Monero developers. They will work silently.   Daytraders on other hand can and will try to get coins cheap and sell expensive.  But since others coins are way easier to manipulate they try to avoid Monero.

This year?  I dont believe we will see much Monero under $20. Even when this crypto bubble will burst.

i think step by step, monero will be increase too like other coins but if we want to get flash pump, i don't think that anybody know because i am sure that there is many factor that flash pump is happen. i think monero will be increase slowly but sure and they will reach higher price in next month. so lets we wait and see what is going on in next month.

There is no a lot of volatility on monero. The monero chart does not want to tell me. It looks we will see the price of monero will be stable on below $20 range.
In fact, a lot of new trades are not interested in pumping the price of monero to the moon. The new coin looks attracting for early investors.

XMR has been stable between 0.015 - 0.02 for a long time in crypto. It would be a matter of time before traders realizes this and starts to buy big on XMR. Then its price will rise and may go as high as the price of ETH. DASH is above 0.07 btc and I don't see any reason why XMR is still so much cheaper. It is a good time to accumulate XMR while it is under the radar.

I think bullwhales pump other alts and not monero and bitcoin because these coins are their endgame when they sell the pump and dump coins, because I think these are two good coins (some others possibly as well, but I don't fdad about every coin out there, even some of the biggest) and whales may think so too. It will get boosted later, possibly only just before this current altcoin bubble bursts. I don't mind this, gives me time to earn the money to buy more monero myself.

Monero is the only currency I am hesitant to ever sell.
$40 this year is a no brainer.

Monero does not market itself. Pumps are more subtle after the initial rise in 2016 when people realized there is a need for a real private currency.

Just be patient. Buy and hold.

Agree, even 40$+ is possible for sure. It's good coin with stable wallet, with good community. Also coins with more privacy is needed in our world right now. I don't mean bad things, i mean regular people to save it from the government's scum etc.

Monero has:

• after ETH the largest, strong growing, very active community
• great peer reviewed technology
• many developers
• development fast and full funded by community
• real use
• many updates to come, Kovri, multisig, mobile wallets, even zk-snarks are researched now
• Coinbase will pretty sure add them
• limited supply of 14 million coins right now compared to 91 million ETH

It is a secure and private store of value, guess where profits from other coins will flow into, only this already will push the price up. ;)
I see XMR clearly over 50 USD more near to 100 USD.

Because of all this facts XMR could have the most violent and fastest rally of all. This is my call. Lets see if I am right.
Will be fun watching it as always in crypto.

Monero is very good investment, we need only one confirmation from the Darknet and you can imagine how this can affect the price. Im sorry i didn't bought much earlier, i was distracted with countless wortless coins, my mistake.

Monero is a very stable coin,Rarely monero get negative news so stable monero price is very good
it's properties are Anonymous and have a very clear distinction among other altcoins
making monero have a very large community, although the weakness of Monero is in its development

I find monero somewhat weak. It didnt make the expected bump. Maybe its Monero's turn now, who knows

Monero is indeed a very good investment. Nobody can have a "price prediction" based an anything other than gut feeling, but we can by now say with relatively great certitude this is an excellent longterm investment. Put money in XMR for big profits within multiple years. Not for shortterm gains. If you want shorterm gains, buy other coins which gets pumped,and gradually pump your profits in Monero. It's what I'm doing.

well 2 weeks ago when he posted was at $20. Thighs change fast nowdays. and yes, you can never know. We may even see a $1000 Monero next year.

@dranster    If you did not care about anonymity and you did not use any mixing ofcourse your transactions dont have high degree of untractability.  Everyone should know that. But no matter that Monero was from 2014 most untraceable coin of them all.

In 2017 stepped one step further and it will just go on and on and on.


In that article nowhere says that Monero was deanonymised as you claim. But it is a lot written there, and nothing that was not posted in last 3 years. Monero is a work in progress. It was for last 3 years and will be in years up to come.  To bring best fungible crypto currency for everyone to use.

Let me add this. Saying Monero was deanonymised is same as if you would go buy flying ticket and you buy economy class ticket. Then when you  board plane you want to sit in first class.


Most transactions in 2014 and 2015 was made by miners. They did not care of anonymity,  but to get their mining rewards as cheap as possible in their wallet.
 

Wasn't linkability solved earlier this year in a hard fork with RingCT or so?

Little logic in the market today dominated 99% by speculants, centralized organisations, greedy merchants and exchanges. All got rich from the thin air and now simply turn the market to whatever direction they want. In this wild capitalism it is hard to distinguish and appreciate the real good work(In our case coin).
But time will tell.

This will be a parabolic chart one time don't worry. Just don"t join us for shortterm gains.

XMR has the largest community beside ETH and BTC and most active development. The price is a joke right now. Will be fun to see what happens when the XMR pump starts.
