Hello guys, i have my ETH since two years on myetherwallet.com i want to split my ether to eth and etc.

Split it with MyEtherWallet.com does't work anymore.

I've send a bit ETH to Jaxx but i can't chose "Split ETH/ETC" how it was shown at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiZUVwGbzV4

and if i look up my Jaxx eth wallet adress on gastracker.io i can't see ETC anymore.

Do you have any ideas ?

i am searching for an easy and secure way to split my eth and etc.

you have ETH and you want to exchange ETC you can sending ETH to exchanger site poloniex, bittrex or more
iam not understand because you not share SS youre problem

Basically your ETC criminal coinage is in the hands of the DAO hacker. You could try asking him politely for them back but don't expect much generosity from criminals.

If OP is HODLing ETH fort wo years in his wallet, then DAO hacker has nothing to do with it. OP can always split his ETH & ETC.

Ethereum is used to buy drugs and child pornography on Alphabay. I dont think there is such option there with ETC. It is obvious choice which is a criminal coin here.

Minecache = The biggest scamming shill on bitcointalk.  He supports hard forking due to ethereums own fuck up due to shotty coding.  This goes against any real cryptos views.  Supposed to be immutable.  Degen.

Buy ETC, it is a better ethereum is every single way.

they updated the jaxx wallet and removed this feature. maybe you can try to install an old version to use the feature to split the coins. and don't listen to them that say use the shapshift icon. you don't want so sell ETH for ETC.

you can use shapeshift. it's built in on jaxx as well. it's that fox icon between the "receive" and "send" tags in jaxx.

I am not sure whats going on in here and I don’t know the people who are fighting here but to help with the OP, do you have etch or eth and exchange it to other or do you have eth that is pre split and want to split it now? Depending on the answer can help you a lot better to be honest with you.

send it to your wallet on poloniex. That worked fine for me. Then you can trade your eth or etc or just send it back to your own wallet

ydkm, I am in the same boat.  I think we are out of luck.  There is currently no way that I am aware of to split ETC and ETH.  From what I understand, ETC came out with the most complicated and confusing way to re-reimburse people who had ETC stolen.  That process expired 15 April 2017 (more or less).  There is talk that the deadline was extended but they will only re-reimburse 70% of your investment.  I have seen no developments there though.

I am hoping I am wrong.  If you found a way to split your ETH and ETC please let me know as I have had no luck.

I've tried splitting using Jaxx, Poloniex, Kraken, as well as the REPLAYSPLIT and WHITEHAT contracts.  Nothing has worked.

The fetures of split to ETH and ETC on jaxx.io had been deleted by developers of jaxx.io
but it is just on new jaxx.io wallet, i think you can try download the older version of jaxx.io
and import the private key on there, make sure you have couples gas on ETH to do split ETH and ETC.

Barry Shillbert is holding big bags of Ethereum Classic, which is why from time to time he will keep pumping it with news in order to not sell at a loss, so don't get too excited, I think the project is going nowhere. Chandler Guo is also holding big bags of ETC. The will keep promoting it, as long as they got bags to sell.

I've tried to download an old version of Jaxx but i don't found any link to an oid version. I dont know what to do.

Since at the time of hard fork, your coins were on  myetherwallet.com.

I'm not sure why you persist with this thread. I told you before that it's most likely been siphoned away. ETC was a criminal coin. End of.

Since you are not getting any good response regarding this i would like to tell you that there was an option to send both the coins using myetherwallet but now i am not sure whether it is possible,the only solution for you right now is to contact their support and wait for the possible solution rather than hearing non verified suggestions. next calculate how much ETC you want to convert

if by split you mean an even-split (half split or 50%), then

open a calculator and enter the total amount of your ETH (let's say you have 5.48847420417124 ETH) and multiply that by 0.5

(5.48847420417124 * 0.5) = 2.74423710208562 (that's half of your ETH)

in other words

(your Ether * zero point five) = half of your Ether

exchange that amount to ETC (you can use shapeshift.io)
