Title: [WARNING] Google Docs Scam and Bitcoin's Safety
Post by: Dudeperfect on May 05, 2017, 06:12:09 AM
I am not sure if this topic belongs to this section or not but I thought this is a critical topic and everyone must be aware of it as it could take away all of the bitcoins stored by you on any exchange, online wallet etc.

This is a phishing scam in which potential victim receives mail during the attack. Many users were sent a deceptive invitation to edit a Google Doc, with a subject line stating a contact "has shared a document on Google Docs with you".

By clicking on that link, victim gives permission to the hacker to access all his emails, data & contacts. Since our online accounts are associated with our mail, hackers can take away our funds (stored on various exchanges / online wallets) by social engineering.
