Title: Nooby question: any guide or tutorial out there to create altcoins?
Post by: TinoZox on May 06, 2017, 09:17:41 PM
Hi everybody!

I am kind of new to this cryptocurrency world and, for recreational purposes, I want to create or clone an altcoin, the thing is that I've been looking and I have only found outdated guides that didn't fit my neccesities and, even if they were good for back then, I am not aware of the modifications that need to be done nowadays to have an actual coin running properly.

I would love it if anybody could redirect me to any up-to-date guide on how to clone a cryptocoin, and as an extra, a guide for beginners into the cryptocurrency programming world.

My best regards, Tino!

Might be a few years old but it can still be followed.
Good luck.

Yeah.. it's called the search button.
And staff advise using Google to search Bitcointalk too.. it works well.
Or you can go to Mycroft and get the browser search plugin i made with the help of staff here. (Grue)

This question gets asked like a few other endlessly.. which is obvious.
