Title: Feathercoins are for hipsters
Post by: imperi on April 29, 2013, 07:04:40 AM
You all know it's true.

If you're not a hipster, you only have dollars. Maybe some money in mutual funds just to take a "risk".

If you're just slightly a hipster, you buy Bitcoins.

If you're a real hipster, of the intelligence sort, you buy Litecoins.

If you're a die-hard hipster, who is out of control, you buy Feathercoins.

You all know it.

Or extremely depressing, if you don't know what you're doing.

The butthurt can be smelled from miles away, OP.

This hipster right here made 10000 USD with FTC.

If you like FTC so much, why do you disrespect them by having "FC" in your sig?

Because that's actually their ticker symbol. "FRC" is Freicoin.

But you haven't heard of Freicoin, have you?

"FTC" is so mainstream. I remember Feathercoin when it was just FC.

Actually, I hate to say this, but FTC is now the official abbreviation, it will be updated in the Client over the next week or so!

Either way Feathercoin is remarkable progress!  8)

Huh. Well, I guess that says something if Feathercoin can just steal the ticker symbol out from under an older coin.

Yeah, I was into FC way back in the day, but now they've gone all corporate and changed to FTC.

HeliumCoin is for the real hipsters now.
