You may be able to speed up a transaction but you're not going to be able to confirm it by yourself.  You need a lot of physical resources and energy to accomplish this as well as the knowledge of how to include a transaction into the block your are mining.

Best you can do is try to speed up your confirmation.

If you want to confirm a transaction in a single day, you'll need to:

Purchase 2,140 Antminer S9 units at a price of about $1270 each (Total purchase price $2,717,800).

Set up a bitcoin mining farm.

Learn how to control which transactions are included in the blocks you mine.

Use approximately 68052 kWh of electricity (about $7,485 at $0.11 per kWh).

OR

You could just pay a transaction fee of 0.00000220 BTC per byte for your transactions, and let someone else that has made the investment in a mining business handle the confirming for you.

Why not?

1.Replace-By-Fee
Quote
Replace-by-fee means transactions spending the same coin to the same addresses are not considered double-spends by the network and are still relayed, as long as they pay a higher fee than the preceding transaction.

Example: Alice pays Bob with a coin worth 1 BTC, sending 0.5 BTC to Bob, 0.49995 BTC to herself as change, and 0.00005 BTC to fees. Alice sees that her transaction is quite slow to confirm, so she sends an identical transaction (spending the same coin), but with twice the fee. The network relays the updated transaction and rational miners quickly mine the higher fee transaction.

2.Child pays for parent  (CPFP)
Quote
Child pays for parent means, as the name implies, that spending an unconfirmed transaction will cause miners to consider confirming the parent transaction in order to get the fees from the child transaction included in the same block.

Is it not possible to use these methods?

Do I understand correctly, you just need to get confirmation?
If so, then try this service: https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

All you have to do is to pay a good transaction fee, so you will be prioritize because there are lots of transactions made every seconds so to have and feel the good service pay high rates for fee because most are just making the transactions for free so it took hours or day before they receive the coins.

You are unable to confirm a transaction by yourself unless you are mining and find the block that your transaction was included in.

Transactions are confirmed through miners mining blocks, which contain transactions, and once a block is found and your transaction is included by the blockchain then the transaction receives a confirmation (which grow over time).

Your transaction speed depend on the fees you pay if you didnt pay fee probably it will take up to 12hours of transaction but in your question you dont need to do anything to confirm a transation all you need to do is wait until the transaction become confirmed it will takes hours normally but depend on transaction fee so just be patient.

I don't think there is possibility for you to confirm a transaction because the miners can only do that to confirm your transactions but i found a site which can help you to confirm you transaction and i tried it a few days ago with my stuck transaction and it gets a confirmation just after i use the site. Here is the link, i hope it can help you. https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

Nobody cared to ask this question, so I will do it. Why do you want to confirm a transaction manually yourself?

_ Do you want to speed things up? < If this is the reason, just pay a much bigger fee and it will be confirmed faster.
_ Do you want full control over your own transactions? < It is possible, but very expensive >
_ Do you want transactions that are caught in the Mempool to be confirmed quicker? < Pay miners to do it for you, for a extra fee >

Give us the reason and we will try to provide a better answer. ^smile^

why 30 peta of hashrate to have your transaction confirmed? even a small miner if he is lucky and manage to find a block in few days he can include his transaction in the block

with 30 peta there is no guarantee either that you will do it in one day(this hash can found a block in 1 day based on calculator) if that was the logic behind it, besides the OP didn't talk about a tiem-frame...

In all there is absolutely nothing you can do about it than to just wait because with all the suggestions I read up there, its either one person is teasing you or the other is giving you an impossible option to go with. The issue is the delay is beyond the increase in transaction fees although its a factor to be considered even at that, you just have to wait or you go the route of accelerator but that will even cost you more but with proper understanding with the person you transferring to, I believe there should not be any problem.

Same question in my head. Why does anyone want to do a task which is that expensive. It's a lot better and easier to pay a little more fees for the transaction or get a confirmation from a Miner by paying a little fees.

Yup I agree you must pay some extra to be treated on a priority basis, as like the other stuff that we use if we give a little extra charges or I will say pay some additional charges makes our work get done faster. The extra basically works as a catalyst to your transaction. The transaction has to be happen but to make it get faster… ;)
