Over $25 Billion in the last 30 Days went to Cryptocurrencies. Marketcap is now above 51 billion usd up from 25 just a month ago and experts say that it aint no bubble and that that is natural growth!  When we will see Eth or Ripple at 10 billion marketcap? What other blockchain projects are candidates for 10 000 000 000 + marketcap?

IOTA is also rising fast and is not on any major exchange yet

the whole marketcap is still very low, if you compare to stocks and forex, crypto is way behind in terms of money invested, this need time to mature, i think ETH will be the next one, it's the only one that is already very near to reach 10 billions, litecoin is far away need to be x6 or 0.1 btc to have that marketcap, but if bitcoin go even higher they might reach the 10 billions cap much early, it depend on bitcoin

I was about picking Ethers because it has the best chance of hitting that figure but something in me said the Ethereum burst is coming very soon. Alot of exit pumps happening now

I think ethereum and ripple can also rich 10 billion. But btc's price is still going up high for how many consecutive days. These coins just need more investors cause what is being advertised is bitcoin and rarely we can see other alt coins. I also thought that these coins are not really directly targetting 10billion market cap this time but rather projects that could entice many investors.

Yeah, byteball guy made a ton of money on NEM. One of the rare people that actually got the REAL LAMBO (or was it jaguar i forgot). His new project bytball is also potential candidate for one billion marketcap and who knows maybe in a few years 10 billion  ;D

yeah but ripple have inflated support, that can be manipulated and increase when they want, i can't count on that as a legit increase, i think ripple is also manipulating the value, with their pesky centralization, i don't like their project it sound very similar to fiat ruled by the government

I voted for ethereum because they are more likely to reach it because of the trend,but I'm surprised that nem is leading the voting here,but I doubt can reach it,the battle is between eth and monero in my opinion.

Ethereum, its been sitting around this price for a few days if its like its been anytime this year it will sit at a price for a short time than moon again.

I will go for ethereum because of its smart contracts. many apps are building on it and it really has a huge adoption. it has a faster transaction. will hit it perfectly well before the end of this year.

Probably Ethereum or NEM at this point, both of them are increasing fast.

I voted Etherum because whether we like it or not, its getting the right attention and developers have woken up from their slumber. The massive development and deployment of infrastructure is happening. What is needed is just to keep the flag moving forward and the promise land is not too far way. ETH is taking its rightful place.

The growth of Ripple was artificial obviously. The market cap of Ripple never worth couple of billions of dollars. It's a huge speculation taking place in exhanges. But when we look at Ethereum, the growth is very normal and it worth that growth. My answer is ETH for this.

whether it's all smoke and mirrors or not doesn't matter. the figure will arrive if enough people hustle it.

Probably ETH, if not XRP. Might depend on if Ripple announce a coin lock-up.

In terms of potential to go to the moon, I would say Ethereum, Ripple and NEM have the best prospects at the moment.

XEM has strength in the eastern and asian markets. I would not discount them.

Maybe not the next $10B coin, but potentially in the near future.  Other than the name, the project has potential.

ripple can bring a lot of money in the crypto. it should be your first candidate to invest with and the next can be something you prefer like eth or xem. eht had already established their network of tokens yet xem is just starting.

Ripple is a first mover in a lot of ways. So is Ethereum, and also Bitcoin as well... That's the main thing I would look at when considering the potential blockchain.

nem has a lot of potential! :) working with it as a developer is a peace of cake, with cherry on top! :P

I voted for the obvious Ethereum,but Nem is leading the vote,honestly I don't have Nem,but will look at this coin and will purchase this coin,it seems ready for the big push by it's supporters and investors.

Probably Ripple because all the banks are moving to use Ripple.
Also if Ripple releasing all their 100billion coins it probably worth close to $20 billion now.

Amazing to see how far alts have come in such a short time. Imagine asking this in 2014/15 and being taken remotely seriously.

Anyway, I think Ripple is the obvious one. Despite it being around forever I still don't understand a bleedin' thing about it, let alone how it can justify such a price.

NEM is way, way more easier to develop on with its API, compared to ETH which requires devs to learn a whole new language!

Much more secure than allowing smart contracts to run on a blockchain also.

I think it is 99% sure that Ethereum will achieve 10B but I voted for NEM, because that is next big thing, but I also think that IOTA will be another chain with potential to go that high.

The higher btc price go the expensive the fee's are.

Most of us agree that NEM will be the next 10 billion dollar blockchain and I do agree too. NEM is doing good and continue to rise, with its easy to used API's I think integration is easy. Many developer will adopt this coin.

As far as the success is based on the quality of the blockchain, NEM will make the race.
But quality not always succeeds.

LISK. One of the most solid projects in the crypto space. Great fundamentals. $30m in development funding, strong development team, re-branding initiative in August, release of SDK before end of the year.

Lisk is a platform for decentralized applications written in javascript run on sidechains. I'll give you a few moments to process this. If you cant determine what this means, than you dont deserve to be part of Lisk.

If you think the market cap is still very low compared to those markets then even better since this means this is the thought time to invest in all those cryptocurrencies since the market it is still very young.

Any idea why NEM is going so fast? Have any improvements happened in this business? I didn't follow this coin but prices went high quite fast so wanted to get more details before I make any decision. In last few months prices went up a lot.

Also, what is the best way to store this coin? any online wallets available?

They had some serious pump campaigns in their bitcointalk thread and people bought it. Also the coin supply is rather constricted which makes it easily pumpable. Add in the influx of new crypto noobs into the space and you have the perfect storm. Ask the average person why NEM is so great and they have no idea; just heard someone else chant its the next best thing and so it must be!

Don't get me wrong it has good tech, but its not worth anywhere near its current valuation.

WAVES should be in the list because its sure to shoot up and may reach up ti 10 billion, this pool is bias and has posted only to manipulate sheep traders to buy XEM. XEM has good platform thats for sure but its too early for them to moon. The xarcade ICO weren't even posted here in bitcointalk. I wonder where they want to get investors.

However, they are developing too slowly.

But they are going faster and faster, and with more that 20 million dollars in developement fund.....

Anyone who takes the time to research NEM will see its the less hyped project out there.
In fact, they have gone out of the way to avoid as much hype as possible, usually you only hear about their developments in the news by a third party!  :D

Lets just agree that both NEM and Lisk are big projects which they are! But ofcourse Nem will be first at 10 billion market cap and Lisk will be at only one billion in 2018 and 10 billion only after 2020!

But NEM founder has a lot of sockpuppet for voting. Can't people remember?  :D

NEM is winning the poll. I always thought its going to be battle of the platforms like ETH. There were platform before them as far as i know like Nxt and burst but they are somewhat difficult to set up which is why ETH is winning. There's WAVES as well that is now rising up. If NEM has the easiest, I'm not going to be surprise if it will be dominate as well.

With the increase as yesterday I think the value of ETH will increase, even able to exceed the value of bitcoin.

Prpbably be eth that gets it. Although some.pump and dumps have been happening it looks like it is going well for eth. Today it went to like 95 on coinbase per eth.

I was expecting Ethereum to be the first to hit $10 billion marketcap but I am now thinking it will be Ripple, with a little luck Ripple could hit that number today.

People are hyped about the recent growth in the coin nothing more, personally I think Ethereum or LTC are the ones that got the biggest chance but to each his own.

I guess all of the choices have the potential to become successful like bitcoin but since the closest one is the ethreum but at this moment already have a high price at this ratr but i guess xem price is pumping so much at this time i will go in xem.

Not pumping much but price is also not dropping. They are not dumping the XEM they are holding so this is a good sign for the keepers of XEM.  The need for updates of the platform that will add value has to be posted on the ANN thread by team members.

Yes and also not because its the 2nd in the market cap but it has a lot of investors in it. To think he is the most famous altcoin owner and most intriguing because he only 23 years old and his money is just on the virtual currency. He is not on any millionaire list and i guess that is one of the reason there are many young coins in the market.

I'm glad Nem is finally getting the recognition it has deserved and they are well on their way to $10b. That would be my bet.
