I have developed some windows 7 / Vista gadgets to help bitcoin miners monitor their mining. They are available for download at http://www.bluepistachio.co.uk/gadgets/ (http://www.bluepistachio.co.uk/gadgets/) There is a Mt.Gox exhange rate monitor with configurable currencies, and several gadgets to monitor your mining efforts on the triplemining pool, including a realtime profit monitor. These are still in late testing, so please feel free to leave any comments via the contact page on the website if you find any issues or have any suggestions. I am espcially interested in sample JSON data from the APIs of other pools' sites, with a view to including them in these or future gadgets.
