It is not revenge but they will give justice to the brutal killings that have been placed upon their military as performed by the ISIS. This will imply a strict policy and a crusade against ISIS. This time Russia will take the declaration of war by the ISIS and will not just sleep leaving their personnel being slaughtered by the enemy. The wrath of Russias Military Power will be poured soon on ISIS.

Those ISIS scum are really asking for it, no? Lucky for them, the Russians are not cucks, they won't take this sitting down.

Of course ISIS are scum, but I'm sure that after this penalty, nothing will change. Russian troops have long been fighting in Syria and this is only one episode of this war. In any war cruelty is present on all sides. What if the Russians could defeat ISIS they would have done it long ago.

Get our of your rabid Russophobia. It is appalling that you are willing to justify a barbarian group like the ISIS, just because you hate the Russians. It is true that if the Russians want, then they can defeat the ISIS in a matter of days, if not hours. But right now, Russia is having only a few hundred soldiers in Syria, and they don't want to play a bigger role there.

What a sad story. Unfortunately, this situation gets worse before it gets better. DAESH killing and f*cking with other countries will hopefully bring more of the world together to end this awful, hate-filled group. The irony is that the catalyst to get response by ware is when the kill innocent people. If they just wanted to promote their strict interpretation of Islam the rest of the world would let them do that. They are truly ignorant to the meaning of religion and faith.

I'm sure now that they have a good reason we'll see ISIS no more? it wasn't important when they were killing hundreds of civilians for about 4 years now?

When you don't care for others but your own is when people are divided in different groups.
ISIS doesn't offer you ice cream when they see you but cuts your head off your shoulders.
Either you go full force against them or you see things like this happening, why have a powerful army if you are not going to use it when needed most?

Yep. ISIS surely is brave enough and ignorant enough the capabilities of Russian Military Prowess or are they just doing this in order to have a face that they have the power to go against these huge countries that in fact thry don't even stand a chance. I really hate this ISIS and other similar terrorist groups that is very brutal and harsh and their goal is such a trashy and not acceptable ones.  But don't get me wrong, we should not generalize the entire Muslim community or so as they say that these rebellious groups have gone far from the true teachings of Islam.

The Russian military has denied that the slain person had any relations with them. Either they are lying, or the ISIS barbarians executed one of their own for no reason.

Of course they are lying. Although I condemn ISIS group , I condemn more the Russian military who have thrown phosphorus bombs and have killed a lot of innocent children , just to kill some ISIS scumbags. That is not the way to go, if they are strong let them go fight like pedestrians head against head but they don't because they are cowards. The war against ISIS can only be won by fighting on earth and not from air, face to face against the enemy. 

One can argue that the Russians are just taking a page of the American manual on war on terror. In the past these ground operations have not been very successful for them, especially when the US start arming terrorists to fight them like in Afghanistan in the 80s. The Russians probably saw the US are arming the anti Assad opposition which they consider a terrorist group and decided they wanted to avoid a new failure like 30 years ago.

Well that's a possibility. I mean, ISIS have recruits from several countries, they probably have plenty of members from the Caucasus. They could have executed on of those and say it was Russian (which wouldn't be far from true). Anyway, was there any footage of the execution available?

This guy was an ethnic Russian. He was claiming that he converted to Islam many years ago. There are dozens of such white Slavic recruits in the ISIS from Russia and Ukraine.

So it turns out he was "one of them". Seems the Russian gov't is not yet confirming that he was an agent, and I don't think they will. RIP. He may no longer be, but his service probably saved some lives.

What if these bastards are beneficial to all? When you need to create tension in the American zone of their responsibility to hire a Russian, and when the tension needed in the Russian zone, they are paid by the Americans.

I have try to think along with you though. International politics is what is affecting our planet today. Look at how their are killing children through chemical weapons and slaughtering innocent journalists, women and children. God is watching.

The combat capabilities of modern States-the world leaders allow to destroy ISIS in a few days. Why not do it? Maybe it's beneficial to someone? Filth not only ISIS, but also those who help them exist in this world.

The fight against ISIS could unite the army of different countries and this could become a unifying factor for UN reform. This organization has long been not fulfilling its function. ISIS is absolute evil and must be destroyed.

Either he's powerless to do anything or he just don't care. Well, if those who died are gonna be resurrected anyway, then their suffering would just be like a blink in eternity, right? Oh what, they're not all Christians? Well, they're going to hell then! Shame.

Since you mentioned Aztec, I remembered Apokalipto, especially the part where the guy was to be sacrificed at the pyramid. He was the last one (all the other captives had their hearts torn out and heads rolled down the steps) and was saved from sacrifice when the eclipse ended. That didn't stop the soldiers from using him as target practice for spear throwing.

That's the fate I would want these ISIS to suffer. They deserve to die at the hands of someone as savage as them.
