Title: Any Non-Poloniex exchange that deals with XMR?
Post by: JGoRed on May 09, 2017, 02:29:01 PM
Pretty the title pretty much explains the question; I don't use Poloniex and Yobit doesn't exchange XMR, so I'm looking for an exchange that does. Any advice?

Bittrex (https://bittrex.com/) would be your next choice.
Why not just use Poloniex though? In the largest in volume cryptocurrency exchange.

There are so many exchanges where you can trade monero (XMR) but listing them here would take the whole of the page, you can find the exclusive list on this link https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/monero/trading_exchanges

@ Emoclaw, people are complaining about poloniex btc withdrawal problems.

Although the volumes are 20x lower than Polo, Bittrex is the next choice.
Cryptopia also trade Monero (and it looks like people missed it) but the volumes are some 100x lower than Bittrex...

Pretty much I think that is FUD. Since everyone else can withdraw. this threads made me try myself withdrawing. So their FUD works btw.

In general, traffic on poloniex grow exponentially right now there is 32k people online trading. Poloniex keep employing new people last year, but for sure could not train and employ enough on time. So when peoples withdrawal and deposits from different reasons went wrong it takes way more time to resolve them. Everyone knows best for them self what they do wrong.

Oh and OP Monero markets are here:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/monero/#markets

But avoid BitFinex and HitBTC since they dont have withdrawals. LOL seems that is a popular thing now in Crypto exchanging.

They're messing stuff up lately.Like a day back XMR was going off the charts until they came up with the server lag excuse and now everyone is freaking it.I'm paranoid myself.

No Febo, Although they may like the dramatic performing arts, for almost 3 days I also am waiting on my 466666 FLDC deposit to show in Polo, and can't get anywhere with Support. Just today and yesterday, that was worth 2 full BTC. But now it's worth less. That's the stock/crypto market for ya.

But I am a little happier knowing that I am not the only one. The vast majority of cryptokeepers do not have bitcointalk accounts, so it isn't too unsurprising to not see too much activity here. But the activity that is here and posting, I have every reason to believe is fully legit.

I am upset, and the best I can do is to let people know my situation, like these other posters, so we can build unifying support to do something about it. That, and possibly drive up to their Delaware office to speak to a real person.
