Is Earth at the centre of the Universe?  And, if so, what does that mean about our world...?

You are wrong. Nobody knows what is in the center of the universe because it is infinite. Another thing is that the universe is composed of small worlds. One of which is our solar system, but in the center not the earth and the sun.

If the EARTH is the centre of the universe then GREAT BRITAIN is the centre of the universe ..

Earth is just a rock in a universe full of like rocks. Some are inhabitable and likely inhabited by something or maybe someone. While most are just rocks. So yeah, we're not that important at all. I know some of us like to feel that way but that's just a lie to make yourself feel better. Like getting high or drunk. Feels good .. still a lie..  But yeah, just one rock among many.

So instead of feeling special maybe feel like you're part of something bigger than you.  :P

So does that mean if we spun a rock the same speed as the earth and the same distance from a sun does that mean we can make another EARTH?..

We are not the center of the universe... The universe is infinite with so many planet and galaxies that we cant count them and i dont believe there is a center for it.

It seems to me that infinity is a relative term. I think start and end should be the whole. Probably the end is, and the universe. We just can't achieve not that the end of the universe, and even neighboring galaxies. Sorry. Very interested to know what is there.

Well we might be close to discovering some extraterrestrial lifeforms. As far as I know a serious exploration of Jupiter's moon Europa is in preparations, and it may well be the best chance of finding alien life in the solar system.

I don't think this should even be debated at all. we're just a very tiny speck in the known galaxy and probably there are more earths like the one that we have out there that also thinks they're the center of the universe

The earth is the center of life in this universe. The earth is the most appropriate place for living creatures. So, I think, correct if the earth is the center of the universe.

Considering that this is the only planet with life on it as far as i believe, i think that it is right and safe to assume that its the center of the universe, I am okay to swallow back my words if ever there is proof that there is another life form and civilization other there in the universe.

Completely perfectly agreed. Nobody would be able to know whether the earth is center of the universe or not. On the other hand, solar system might be on the edge of the universe. This situation is rhetorical question and nobody can answer it in a short time.
