Title: Is this happened to you at Coinbase?
Post by: buglab on May 10, 2017, 08:06:37 AM
I bought 7.37626151 BTC on April 28th via bank account.  It was supposed to arrive on May 8th on my wallet.

But it is still showing, that it will be delivered today.  Two extra days already passed. It is not showing on my account. It is still showing "Arrive today".

I contacted them via email or twitter, even Coinbase CEO on twitter. There is no respond from them yet.

Due to this, I have missed my big opportunities at investment in alt-coins! What should I do next?

This is very condemnatory!  You should keep messaging them regarding your pending issue.
Once you get your money into your account, grab it away and my recommendation is to use xapo instead of coinbase.
Xapo has added a buy option also and their services are instant. They do not charge fee on your transactions.

This.
I wouldn't use Coinbase either if I had such issues as you.
Blockchain.info also has an option to buy Bitcoin, but it's for European residents only.

Coinbase's wallet isn't a good place to buy bitcoins. Their exchange service, GDAX is better for trading but I'd recomend against using Coinbase as a wallet or place to sell bitcoins because of issues like this and the total inability of their support to detect and fix issues.

I made the purchase with bank transfer (ACH), I even pay for fees for that. I didn't have any problems at ordering for the low volume (1 BTC or 2 BTC). However, they are delaying after ordering for 10K USD.

Thanks for Xapo, I will shop next time at there than Coinbase.

I am from the US. So, I cannot purchase at Europe, unless I pay for international transfer fees. Which I don't wanna pay. And Kraken banned NYC residents. So I was buying with Coinbase for ACH.

Yes, this causes me big lost, Now I am missing chances at my alt-coins trades.

I'm glad that this issue have been resolve already and it seems coinbase do have some delays regarding on transferring that bitcoin into your wallet and all things clears up against coinbase. Better to lock of this thread to avoid further discussions since its has been already resolve.

Oh yeah? So besides disqualifying Africans from their services they still suck at service delivery? It's a shame Coinbase allowed me to register on its site but couldn't allow me receive Bitcoin when I needed to. Seeing all these now, I think it was good for me.

OP, good to hear that Coinbase finally released your coins, mate.

I second that, good that your coins got released.

Coinbase used to be good, but they're literally shit now.

Let me add and Itemize the complaints(some anecdotal):
1)I've had 6 days of no response from them.
2)Telling me it's not their fault for having Bitcoin boom.
So in other words, It's not our fault Cryptocurrency is in and we have no plans of upgrading
to support the high trade volumes.
3) BSOD saying "Service Unavailable" at least 5x a day
4)Meddling scum:https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/6hik6e/coinbase_disables_account_for_ross_ulbricht_legal/

After the intermittent service outage, me and my friend opted to go back to
our Fallback site Paxful, and we did.

We can't take any of that stress.
