You do not "have to post" any "pointless topics" at all. As a matter of fact, everyone would prefer that you make useful intelligent posts. Unfortunately it is very difficult to force you to do so. Therefore we all have to suffer through your personal choice to fill our wonderful forum with your useless spam. I am a Newbie too but I think that is good rule that new people MUST put some "empty" post to be allowed for something more. There are many, many... people in the Internet that come on Forum, put one post and then leave. They do not help except themselves. It is better than pay money for the access to the Forum...
