Just because it is an exchange with highest volume doesn't mean that it is the most secured one. We all witnessed some problem on one or another exchange in the past... I just hope that you haven't lost some higher amount. I know that polo had a breach in the past and that they have successfully returned the coins to its owners, but still this doesn't mean that they will try to protect its users all the time. But they may tell you now that you lsot your coins cuz of DDOS which is really lame :/

People do DDOS attacks on polo as I have experienced them myself few times in the past.

There was already couple of threads regarding the same problem with poloniex . You might need to wait and see what poloniex gonna do about this .

It seems this problem effected a lot of users . I think if poloniex want to ( scam / steal ) they would have take all BTC not play with some alts :) so

just wait .

they will prob gonna fix this soon .

If you have a problem, go onto reddit and reply directly to the following Poloniex employee (Mike-Poloniex) in the following thread:

He usually resolves things quickly
