Title: One GPU Left Behind **Solved**
Post by: Kuzushi on April 30, 2013, 04:09:33 PM
Hello all,

I'm very new at mining and have just finished building my first rig. I'm using two 7970's with cgminer and when mining LTC on
give-me-ltc.com only one GPU is being used, but when I mine bitcoins using 50Miner on 50BTC.com both GPU's are working fine.
How can I fix this so that both GPU's will mine LTC?

Thanks for your help

check the actual config files. you probably are just giving it the wrong options.

What's your operating system? I had a similar issue using Linux, until I re-ran aticonfig to rebuild the xorg config files.

Excuse me, I may have made a mistake. I'm using GUIminer, but after I select my GPU from the drop down list It says "7970 (cgminer)" .

@Cryptomer:  My operating system is Windows 7 pro 64bit.

@roflplatypus: The menu at the top of the software dosen't show how to see a config file but the settings are as follows:

Host: pool.give-me-ltc.com
Port:  8080
Username:  *****
Passord: *****
Device: Tahiti
Extra flags: (left blank)
Thread Concurrency: 8192
Worksize: 256
Vectors: 1
Intensity: 13
GPU Threads: 1
GPU Defaults: 7970 (cgminer)
Use stratum: No

Do I need to change the Vectors and or GPU Threads seetings?

I needed to setup and run each GPU on separate default settings pages.  Problem solved.

Thanks
