 ;D So while I was skimming through the chat at a favorite gaming site this evening someone used a term that I don't see ANYWHERE but online, while gambling. and it inspired me to start a "You know your a Bitcoin gambler when..." thread to see what all of my peers can come up with, for a good laugh!  I will start.  

You know you're a Bitcoin gambler when...
            8)   You know what it means when someone says Grrr in chat.
            :-X    When a total loss is called a bust!
           >:(   When you have memorized the terrible Sound Of King Kong Shitting on your banana party.
            :o   You understand what YOLO means ( "you only live once" fits, but it works even better if it's changed to         "you only LOSE once"

When you get super excited about winning 1/10 of a penny after betting 1/1000 of a penny.

When dice are no longer little cubes but instead a random number generated from 0-infinity.

When the word bust stops meaning boobs and now means you lost all your money.

When you get mad at a bot and take it personally when it didn't randomly select you from the crowd.

This is really the word to use when it came to your attention that you were thinking you will roll a dice and the maximum will be six but unfortunately for you, you roll and get > 3000 and you were wondering, are we still playing dice?
Another is when you realised that it will be better for an elephant to pass through a needle eye before you can hit the jack pot and you money is just reducing gradually.

You became a gambler the moment you clicked the "Roll dice" button In my opinion, as easy as that, that's level 1. Level 2 is when you lose everything (and you will) because greed is a powerful emotion, In other words, nothing good comes from gambling, stay away from it.

well a bust has been used for most gambling losses and I think you'd know a bitcoin gambler when he or she takes a lot of time on the computer or on their mobile devices and getting these sudden reactions when they either win or lose.

If you are earning bitcoins and as soon as you get bitcoins in your wallet and you start using them only on gambling sites to multiply them quick then its an clear indication that you have become addicted to bitcoin gambling as you earn bitcoins so that you can use them only for gambling purposes.

Here's mine this is just from my own gambling experience. You know you're a bitcoin gambler if you have tried going all in for once in your gambling session. When someone calls you rich if you brag about your winnings on chat. When you also brag about your losses on chat(I don't do this but I do see other gamblers always sharing their losses on chat).

You know you are a Bitcoin gambler when you directly stop playing in fiat money casinos and never gamble again there even when you are out of bitcoins. You wait patiently until you get at least 0.01 bitcoin to start gambling into your favorite casino sites which accept only one form of payment and that is bitcoin. That defines you as a bitcoin gambler. If you keep playing both casinos fiat and bitcoin you are just a gambler in general.

What mean it?  You are a bitcoin gambler when you have lost your all bitcoins. No, i don't think that gambler mean we lost every time, i believe you are a bitcoin gambler when you have try hard to win a big jackpot , and take a high risk.
But i also believe only take the risk, which you could afford it easily. And bitcoin gambler mean simply, that who play online gambling with bitcoin.

Very good explanation, I also just realized this where the majority of my balance is in the gambling account, but from that I became more wise to divide portion in my personal account and trading market because for me everything is important.

Thats for sure  :D when you realize that you have zero balanced already. During the initial days of gambling I used to feel very bad on losing even 5$ betting on events. The same gradually increased when further lose and winning took place randomly. At some point I started placing big value around .25btc on sports betting. This time while losing I never feel big as the random wins help me compensate the loss giving at least a small profit. This made me realise I'm a gambler.

When your wallet is immediately empty the day you just received your sig campaign earnings.  :D

I'm usually a victim of this and I know most of you are too.  Sometimes I'm glad that the mempool is always overloaded because it discourages me from making deposits to sports betting sites.

Oh, I experienced also that and I can relate the situation.  ;D  When you received your fund and you are excited to play then there is there is a delay in id deposited. But not anymore, I learned to divert my time to other activities. I do not want to always wasting my earning on games.  ;)

i think we know that we are bitcoin gambler when we play gambling online using bitcoin.  there are so many gambling sites who are now giving facilities to their uses to use bitcoin for gambling. in fact online gambling become much more popular after they start accepting bitcoin for playing gambling,  as we can see that more and more new gambling sites are introducing day by day.

When i have won 10$ with just 1 cent bet on one slot machine almost a year ago. That feeling forced me to keep on playing but at last i have lost more than what i have made before.  ;D

I experienced both, I lose my earning online and my salary in my real job but it still keeps me to gamble here, I learn from my mistakes but only up to the point that I have to control my gambling, I never stop and no one can stop me.

Probably I would not have become a gambler if I was not introduced into bitcoins. Honestly I am enjoying my life with the combination of bitcoin and gambling.

Once I calculated how much I have spent for my gambling, it was summing up to some $1000 when bitcoin prices were trading below $600, at the time I realized I have become a gambler only because of I am spending in bitcoins. I would not have become a gambler if I did deal in fiat or I was calculating in fiat value.

That is true for me, i am curious what is dice bot all about then i came to google to search for dice bot and Seuntjies DiceBot appear on the google search. After that, i Tried to search for different strategies for the bot and some of them made me profits and others strats won't work on me.

I am not a professional gambler. Before knowing this bitcoin, i did sports betting with my friends but not serious bet it's friendly betting. But when I played real games in online gambling casino then I become a gambler. But this bitcoin made to me to involve more in gambling. Suppose if I don't know this I maybe not enter this gambling world.

I know I'm a Bitcoin gambler whenever I buy bitcoins to gamble anonymously because almost all gambling websites are banned in my current country of residence hence the Bitcoin gambling websites are the only way out so each time I buy I feel I'm gambling in Bitcoin and therefore a gambler of Bitcoin.

For me, when I gamble I would never think of myself as a gambler. But it was only when I stumbled that I realized my mistake. I have gambled so much, that I did not know anything other than gambling and once lost to me, I realized it. I was really too stupid to become such a bad person. i don't think by set our mind it can help us in gambling. we know gambling it's depend on luck so even though play without thinking you still can win, man.

Not all gamblers use bitcoin to gamble,especially these days that bitcoin is getting pricey. I think what you have taught your friend is really helping him right now, and for me that is a big win, not to mention that he will be going back to gamble again and make another risk, justt wish him luck he will not be addicted to gambling, or else, it is your fault.

If you are gambling then you are a gambler that uses bitcoin and i did have my time gambling with it but not a big time gambler,yes i have lost some coins and looking back it is a huge amount considering the current price of bitcoin but back then it was not the case.The problem is with gambling is that when you loose you just stick up your mind and get out rather than looking to get back the lost coins.

That's good of you. I've been into gambling long back and once came to know about bitcoin started using it for all my gambling needs. The same didn't make me feel as a bitcoin gambler, but recently calculated the loss and the profit I made through gambling. Yeah, everyone is here because of bitcoin, I realize to read this thread, most of the people are doing bitcoin online gambling, the main reason is that when people under in bitcoin world than automatically they are starting to play gambling without any plan. Even i see mostly that people are starting gambling, who in real life they are not gambler. Than it is clear mean, if bitcoin was not introduce than might be possible, mostly people not playing online gambling.     

I used to a bitcoin gambler and how do i know it is when i have to buy more btc so i can gamble more. It started off as btc is the cheapest way to gamble for me. One soccer match cost like $2 to bet while the betting station in my country has a min bet of $10. So naturally i will like to bet on btc cause i also can save like half an hour of queueing at the bet station.

I think gamblers that usually use bitcoin will be having a lot of problem with these price to buy for their gambling activities. I think it is their time now use faucets online which can be a way to stop their addiction to gambling. But if you think about it, no one can stop them from gambling, even if the price go up, they will be still gambling and will not stop.

i know when i gambler when if stressed i always YOLO my balance, win or lose it is not a matter and never regret if lost in gambling, but it is different when trade and loss, i always regret it

YOu are the same as me. Moreover, I also consider myself as a man who seeks for entertaining activities all over the internet. Gambling has brought a lot  of emomtion and feelings to me

You know when you're a Bitcoin gambler when you start losing hard over it and try to recover your losses by doubling your bets based on martingale strategy, you won't stop until you reach back your capital or you completely lose it which is addiction over self-control and that's what makes a gambler, the one who has the guts to take risks.

i am agree with these sentences that OP wrote "You understand what YOLO means ( "you only live once" fits, but it works even better if it's changed to "you only LOSE once". i think at least we can try once in a lifetime to know how its feel to playing gambling. as there are many of us used bitcoin to place a bets, then we should called ourselves bitcoin gambler.

YOLO is for only who are planning to quit gambling for good. "WE" can considered our self bitcoin gambler when we use bitcoin to gamble and nothing for that is what the op means to me.  Playing gambling doesn't mean we are sinners we are just enjoying the joy that gambling gives us It feels like I'm stressing out every time I play.

Not even sure why you say YOLO is for people planning to quit. I do this all the time. Well, it hasn't turned good whenever I do it, but it's a play style. So far I haven't quit gambling yet. If I do plan to quit, I won't even do a bet for a single satoshi, since all I would be thinking is saving every bit of money I have and gambling will just be a waste of money.
