Title: Hero Member Privilidges Post by: bonker on April 30, 2013, 05:05:17 PM Hello everyone. I have recently become a "Hero Member". I think Hero Members should get some sort of prize above and beyond the extra disc thing. Maybe a cake or a donation or some thing. Maybe all ignores should be removed too... people need to hear what I have to say
Title: Re: Hero Member Privilidges Post by: wachtwoord on April 30, 2013, 05:37:12 PM Hero member is nothing but an indication your post count is larger than some arbitrary number. I don't think a reward for this is necessary or even deserved.

I don't think a reward for this is necessary or even deserved. What are you some sort of Commie? I've donated enough epic wisdom to this forum in my path to Hero Member status.... I think its only fair that I get a prize Title: Re: Hero Member Privilidges Post by: wachtwoord on April 30, 2013, 05:46:43 PM There is no causal relation between being a hero member and having contributed value to the forums.
BTW: You do know your ignore button is bright yellow right? ;) Title: Re: Hero Member Privilidges Post by: Akka on April 30, 2013, 05:46:55 PM Hero member is nothing but an indication your post count is larger than some arbitrary number. After all us "Hero Members" need to stick together against the flood of dumb posts from the newbies. Here's a sample prize list I think we deserve: 1) New mining equipment 2) Foodstuffs: lager, cakes, sandwiches etc 3) New monitor 4) A caravan holiday or something exotic like that Title: Re: Hero Member Privilidges Post by: wachtwoord on April 30, 2013, 05:54:05 PM Here's a sample prize list I think we deserve: 1) New mining equipment 2) Foodstuffs: lager, cakes, sandwiches etc 3) New monitor 4) A caravan holiday or something exotic like that What are you some sort of Commie? :D Title: Re: Hero Member Privilidges Post by: myrkul on April 30, 2013, 05:57:56 PM I don't mind being in line to get the gifts, but just so long as well agree that long term posting wisdom gets some kickback. *we all* not "well" Sure, I'll agree to that. And long-term posting nonsense gets a dark yellow ignore link. Looks like you've already received your reward. You just post endless beige junk so no-one cares to ignore you. Ignores are a characteristic of radical and powerful ideas that shake up the system. Anyway back on thread..... Where's my prize?! Seriously, go ahead, change it. Title: Re: Hero Member Privilidges Post by: zeroday on April 30, 2013, 08:07:58 PM consider adding trollface to every hero member's avatar ;D

Hey there, young lady. We need to celebrate your emergence into true heroics proper. You wanna get a plastic jug of vodka and like, five birthday cakes from the grocery store and get weird? edit: Maaaan, Psy, fucking up my game. Don't be a hater. Well bonkers, it looks like we'll have to drown out the pain of demotion instead. Let's make it ten cakes. Title: Re: Hero Member Privilidges Post by: tinus42 on June 23, 2013, 05:08:14 PM I think that to be a Hero Member you should have done something like:
a) rescueing kids from a burning building b) jumping in a river to save a calf from drowning c) dragging your wounded buddy away from the firing line whilst dodging bullets Or something similar. ;) Title: Re: Hero Member Privilidges Post by: mprep on June 23, 2013, 05:30:44 PM I think that to be a Hero Member you should have done something like: Or simply saved bitcoin from a major crysis. ;Da) rescueing kids from a burning building b) jumping in a river to save a calf from drowning c) dragging your wounded buddy away from the firing line whilst dodging bullets Or something similar. ;) Title: Re: Hero Member Privilidges Post by: BurtW on June 25, 2013, 03:14:35 PM How can this be?

Production will be handled by BFL, while shipping will be handled by Avalon. Note, your fortress may be tested for weeks before shipping. We might not wipe the dust off. 500 valuably ignored posts is something we all desperately need.
