Title: What are the best wallets? Post by: Tyrantt on May 16, 2017, 04:56:18 PM So I've been using blockchain.info wallet ever since I've started and today I've noticed that it always gives me a recommended fee that's pretty low and the transactions get stuck in the confirmations. So I've been thinking of changing the wallet.
What wallet is good for lower transactions that are not over 30$? (also did anyone else experience that problem with the low recommended fees?) Title: Re: What are the best wallets? Electrum is a great option (user-friendly), but not just for lower valued transactions, it's good for higher valued transactions as well.(also did anyone else experience that problem with the low recommended fees?) Regarding the fees that they chose as of late (120 sat/byte), in the meantime, you could also use the advance option while sending, so you could choose and use a better fee instead.Title: Re: What are the best wallets? Well I don't trade with amounts higher than 30$ or it's very, very rarely when I do. That's perfect, I've had trouble the other day when I've send my btc from blockchain.info wallet with 120 sat/byte and the confirmation time was terrible. Thanks for the suggestion. Post by: rozee on May 18, 2017, 12:02:31 AM offline wallet is good option for security reason but i am prefer on online wallet because its accesible everytime everywhere and about the fees its all depends on transaction size smaller transaction will use low fees too but if the size of transaction so big to get faster confirmation better to use high fees

I would like to tell you that they have changed their terms before two days and now they are charging a small amount of fee on your transactions. Its fee was none but yet to pay for it . One thing I have noticed is when blockchain.info suggests high fees we complain about it same goes with the low recommended fee but for a low time user this should be no problem for you as the advanced setup feature is available for you.Quote What wallet is good for lower transactions that are not over 30$? Title: Re: What are the best wallets? Post by: neochiny on May 19, 2017, 08:04:00 PM Electrum works best for desktop wallet. Basic transaction (1 input, 1 output) is usually just about 190-210 bytes. Then you just choose from the suggested fees at https://bitcoinfees.21.co/
I've also used greenadrress for online/chrome extension, (for accessibility) it's okay but the basic transactions (1 input, 1 output) could sometimes go up to 310bytes. I don't use Coinbase/Blockchain.info/Xapo anymore. |
