Title: Best Cryptocurrency

Seeing these high BTC tx fees there comes the question - which cryptocurrency is the most liquid, fastest and yet has lowest tx fees to move value around? Bitcoin doesn't serve as a good currency anymore.

I prefer Monero lately. Gives you extra anonymity and the fees aren't huge since XMR itself is still quite cheap.

Litecoin and Doge still have some and can be used directly, at least in the places where I use

Here I would like to suggest to use the doge coin , because the coin is totally open source and we don't need to pay any amount of charge for the transaction .
Luckily in the current time the value of the bitcoin is more then what was in the pastof two years .
So it would be more better to have the quee so it would be more better to have the doge as the secondary way for the payment in the cryptocurrency .
Beside of the doge coin I will suggest to use dgb , ripped like altcoins because these has really very low fee for the transaction .
Last night I send a transaction 153 sat / byte , but still that transaction did not get confirmed that is totally thinking even pay of high fee .

waht do you mean the most liquid?

Least volatile against USD and has wide acceptance. For instance now that BTC tx fees are high and you want to quickly move BTC to small exchange, it may be less expensive to own LTC, move it fast to that exchange, sell it for BTC and buy your desired altcoin that will pump 10x  ;D However in order to sell LTC there needs to be as small spread between bids and asks as possible, otherwise BTC tx may still be more cheap way to transfer money. Additionally, if you switch to holding LTC, you don't want it to be too volatile, so you don't lose value for holding it long term.

Yes, BTC is still the most liquid, however it loses its appeal because not only BTC is very slow, it's becoming impractical because of high tx fees.

it depends on what you want to do!

if you want to purchase something online from a merchant or something, the only choice is bitcoin.
if you want to make a decent investment with least chance of losing money and a sure profit in long term then again bitcoin.
if you want the biggest market with the most liquidity, most number of exchanges and traders, then again it is bitcoin.
if you want to transfer money to someone else on the other side of the world you must use bitcoin because they would want to convert it back to fiat and they wouldn't be able to do with other altcoins most probably.

if you want the anonymity and want to do some stuff on the dark markets that are not so legal then you must use Monero.

if all you want to do is to do some little things like gamble and with a small amount then you can use Doge or LTC.

if you want to participate in the ICO scams and test your luck, then your only choice these days is buying Ethereum since these ICOs don't accept anything else.

None of the alternatives have a real scaling solution yet, they would all suffer the same problems bitcoin currently is if they had the same number of transactions. Ethereum has an adaptable block size which means full blocks are temporary but it doesn't solve the question of what happens if blocks get too big, meaning new scaling solutions will still be required.

That being said obviously since few people use alts for real usage they are a good alternative right now, and in reality it doesn't matter which you use as long as its one with a marketcap over 100 million$ and its not worth listing it since you can find it at coinmarketcap.com

I believe all the Altcoins mentioned above will love to have the problem Bitcoin is having. The issue with transaction fee is not particulat about BTC, Ethereum is about to be having this issue because the value of Ethers has gone up and miners have not reduced the fee.

My vote goes to Dogecoin. Now if we need to pay 0.001 BTC just for the fees when btc worth $1850, I think time has come to move to other cryptocurrencies. Dogecoin is perfect substitute considering demand, potential and most importantly low fees.

Doge and ltc I would say. Although you are in for a real up and down on either right now. Doge for awhile was pretty low and now trending around 60 to 70 satoshi. Ltc went from 38usd to something like 20 usd on some exchanges. I see today it was going back to around 24 and 25. Crazy to hold bags on ltc though. Such a rise and fall makes me not want to hold it right now.

For those who used BTC as a currency for transactions, Doge and STEEM are very good option. But BTC is still a very good option to store my savings as well as accept it as a payment for my services. So BTC is the best cryptocurrency for me.

You should pay attention to Dash - https://www.dash.org/. I'm not sure about low fees, but it is #6 cryptocurrency all over the world, so it's really liquid. More than that, it has special nodes called Masternodes which allow Dash to process transactions much faster than any other cryptocurrency.

When people use " best " is because easy to get and price always up. Everyone have their own opinion but they realize market will say different. so don't be surprised. Depend on " easy to get " maybe we have a good strategy with trade and exchange, really nice profit I think. But depend on sentences " price always up " maybe is just because of supply and demand itself. Hope you'll find your best cryptocurrency and good luck.

For me their are three best cryptocurrency, the bitcoin, the dogecoin and the ethereum, those are very good cryptocurrency. First the bitcoin, it has the largest value of all the cryptocurrency that ever made, and also the most popular. Second, the ethereum, the ethereum has the second largest value in the cryptocurrency and also the one of the youngest crypto. And last the dogecoin, i dont have many informations about it but it is also essential and many people also knows it.

Bitcoin is mostly used as an asset right now. Gone are the days when Bitcoin was used as a currency. When the transaction fees gone too terribly high that even a cup of tea will cost you several dollars of value in Bitcoin, the use of it as a currency has gone down significantly. In addition, long confirmation time rises as another concern in using Bitcoin as a currency. And on top of them, the value of Bitcoin is fast increasing that is why Bitcoin spending is also lessened. Litecoin is probably the best alternative. Or perhaps Bitcoin Cash.

Yes. I think Bitcoin is not a good currency anymore it takes too long to mine a block, it's the result why people transaction often stuck cause don't get any confirm for a long time. For now I think ETH is becoming the better cryptocurrency than BTC, it's very quickly when we make a transaction in ETH, it only take about few seconds. Beside there are a lot of new token created everyday base on ETH so I think ETH will become the best cryptocurrency soon.

In my opinion for now ETH is the best cryptocurrency although its price is not high as Bitcoin but it's very stable if they decrease it's just a little not too much like Bitcoin. At the moment Bitcoin price dumped from 7k4$ to 6k7$ but ETH price is still around 300$. Beside nowaday when you want to make a transaction in Bitcoin you will have to wait about 10 minutes or more to see your transaction received confirms but with ETH it's only take about 1 - 2 minutes to complete the transaction.

Top ten coin-cap are not going away anytime soon,

Best coin is the coin you can mine for free, and not pay for that pay's the cost of electricity and hw,

Day-Trading crypto's especially crypto's that are just backed by 'shit', are a certain way to lose your money,

Hell miners don't even mine shit-coins because they don't pay electrical costs, but traders have no 'sense' of value or cost for a coin,

For every shit-coin on this forum, there are dozens of BOTS shilling for that shit-coin, thus no question asked can get a rational answer.

Best coin, is that one that has the most value, that U get for free when mining,

People who PAY USD or BTC for alt-coins, are just putting faith into other people's greed, and historically this never ends well

My favorite cryptocurrency at the moment is Propthereum.io, an asset backed cryptocurrency on the blockchain expecting a 1566% coin appreciation in a short period of time. Proceeds raised from their ICO will be used to purchase A-grade property worldwide generating a rental income and underlying value for the PTC token holder. The great thing about this concept is that the coin will always increase in value!

IOTA is known for it's very low fees, also a stable coin with a 1B+ marketcap for the last 4 months.
But I prefer Litecoin and Monero , both have decent transaction fees.
Litecoin because it's around for ages, does technological upgrades first and is basically Bitcoin but not overpopulated.
Monero got my interest with their anonymous transactions using the Cryptonight algorithm that they implemented first.

The best cryptocurrency right now and always is Bitcoin. It has the best security on the network and has a limited supply therefore it is a great store of value for long term storage of wealth. Other cryptocurrencies have unlimited supplies, are subject to change whenever the developers feel like it. These networks also are not that secure therefore there is no point holding value there.

Seeing these high BTC tx fees there comes the question - which cryptocurrency is the most liquid, fastest and yet has lowest tx fees to move value around? Bitcoin doesn't serve as a good currency anymore.

I hope that the best crypto currency does not exist yet! We have something to strive for!) But of those that I like the etherium more! Transactions are much faster than bitcoins, and cheaper.

Doge is surprisingly good as a currency. Nice to invest on. One can take the risk.

And what's in it good except for the name? And that's for dog lovers. It behaves oddly on the stock exchange, solid bar code, I think that it is more difficult to sell than other coins. And among exchanges, while I use bittrex.

I think Ethereum will be a cryptocurrency that will be a very high place, but it still takes a very long time. Now that bitcoin is bound to stay in the first place, because one of the main things that causes it to happen is the recognition and interest of big companies to adopt bitcoin or its technology. So bitcoin still remains the king of cryptocurrency, just be patient and continue to monitor or analyze well.

Ether is still the best. Just like custom fee works in bitcoin ether fee is alo ridiculously cheep. you csn send  transaction for as low as $0.001 an your transaction will still arrive within a minute or two.

The subject is different from the main text, i wanted to say that there is no way to answer which cryptocurreny is the best, it all depends on the use case of each.
When it comes to good coins that are undervalued, i would say BTS would be the most, but i am wondering why it remains under valued even after many years of being in the market.
