Title: Interesting coins!
Post by: Boxxl on May 17, 2017, 07:16:41 PM
Hi,

There are some coins I find interesting?

Siacoin - cloud storage, a lot cheaper. Great idea

Ripple - had always my interest because they offer a very good solution for banks

Golem - a good solutions for computer graphics and machine learning

Wetrust - rosca market

Do you have some interesting coins? And why? Why is it better then others?

That's an easy one. Almost no one knows about it yet but it's already exploding a community. Just scroll down and read the paragraph to get an idea how big this will be.

Ok, but why? Why are they special?

It depend what do you really want. If you are day trader then every coin that can make you profit is good one. If you already invested in en coin then this coin is best and you will speak only positively about.
But when you find en good idea and concept that is same as your beliefs, then you have something Worth fighting for. BTC concept is behind Decentralization and freedom of privacy. Anonymous coins are true heirs of this fight.

I didn't interested with all of your list. I mean there is no product until this time. But just interested with new project such as santiment, Aragon (still doubt), Bancor. Both bancor and santiment will deliver his MVP to the public. Bancor already did it. and i can see the usefulness to hold his token rather than just end with pump and dump.  8)

An entirely new way to do a blockchain

The repository contains copied bitcoin code but the developer has removed the COPYING file, a classic indication of a developer with a distinctly idiosyncratic model of the world. You might wish to leaven your enthusiasm with a small dose of cool reality.

I read a lot of technical improvements, but I want to see more of the real possibilities for users.
I don't think most people knows how Bitcoin work, only it is safe to use.

Some others?

The project has been completely tansparent, everything you mentioned was first made known by the developer himself. The coin base was such a mess after forking from a scam the developer decided it had to go once he decided it couldn't be cleaned up.  So a brand new core code is now mirroring the old coin and soon the Genesis block will be launched and the old chain dropped.

One thing I've found is so many on here understandly are very cynical. But something I don't like is falling back on assumptions rather than checking out specific facts. I've yet to see a criticism of the project based on actual reality.

The fact is the quoted repository does not have a COPYING file.

Maybe he very considerately doesnt want anyone copying the shitcoin code base? Who knows? I would t assume the worst in this project the developer doesn't seem to even own much. He worked with Peter Szor in the past, he an older guy in his forties, doesn't seem interested in the money side. He's also deaf.

I just think you dismissed a project based on some possibly easily explainable point. Familiarise yourself with the project you might find like many others already it's something great. If you find real definite concerns I would be the first to want to know about them.

I advised a new poster to leaven their enthusiasm with reality, equating that to dismissal is induced hyperbole of entirely your own invention. I'll leave you to it.

Bancor seems interesting, they want to replace the exchangers traditional model with their coin

Ripple is already having a market cap of around $15 billion, and it has even managed to overtake Ethereum. So it may be a bit late to invest in this currency. Its exchange rate has increased by 7,000% during the last 3 months (from $0.005 per coin to $0.350 per coin).

Please explain to us why you think Ripple is the best choice. Personally, we think that BTS / Bitshares is the BEST Choice!

One interesting coin is SONM, The SONM project will have the ICO this June 15th, and will replace PoW mining algorithm, also will include: bioinformatics, climate predictions, Golem, for example, does not have those features.

Probably bitshares is better than Ripple, because Ripple is a private company working with private banks. Bitshares is the opposite.

I would say that the most interesting token or coin in the history would be the recently concluded Basic Attention Token (BAT) which sold out in just thirty five seconds and collected $35 million,i did my best to invest in it,but to no luck, for all the lucky people who were able to participate in this, hats off.

Well, my favourite, which has not been launched yet, has been in development for 4 years, rewritten four times.
Radix has a couple of features not offered by any other crypto currency that I am aware of...

Direct debit cards from a Point Of Sale terminal directly to your crypto wallet, you can even make your own debit cards.

Automatic elastic demand/supply which will stabilize the currency to +/- < 1% annually, it does it by increasing your holdings with more tokens instead of by a fluctuation in the price of the tokens.

I never thought SONM is a good coin, I know SONM is an unfinished ico project, how can you say that SONM is a good coin, I do not understand you, can you explain it?
