I just want to know if i can reply or qoute in any of the discussion.

Of course you can quote or make a reply on any subject here in our forum. Just remember not to spam, but to add value on the discussion and not just post one liner. As you can see, there are lot of thread here and I'm sure you can contribute to whole discussion and share you ideas, comments or suggestion. That's why is it called a discussion, exchanging one ideas about a certain topic. But there is a limit for newbies, If I'm not mistaken, its like 6 minutes before you can make another comment. Yes you can, base on your rank there is limit time from one post to another post, and if you post image the image can't be show up, need to be a Junior Member to show up image.

I have been suggested by the one who introduced me to the forum that you should learn little by little and should not quote for posts that were made by high member ranking users.

First of all welcome to the bitcointalk forum. To answer your question though, yea you can. By replying, quoting and engaging on this forum you'll be able to rankup and establish yourself here. Feel free to engage with other people and don't be scared to ask questions.

why? if you have a point to make then let's hear it. the rank doesn't matter if it adds something. there's a bunch of senior members who are still completely dumb. sticking around for a long time doesn't make you anything special.

I think the only thing you should avoid when quoting is quote pyramids. If you want to answer someone specific who has quoted something in his post, quote him and then in the text editor erase the rest of the user posts that automatically get quoted too.

Quoting is absolutely fine unless you are making a post with something that has already been said, in other words - repeating. And repeating things could lead you towards spamming and may create your wrong impression in the eyes of Mods, so you should take care about that, rest you are a member of this forum just like us and you too have the rights to do whatever you want (obviously limited to correct things).

Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it because when I join, I thought that newbie can only join in a gambling discussion until i got myself into a higher rank.

But mate, you also can understand only connected a single piece of section like gambling discussion or continuously posting giveaway or one liner post it also called spamming. So, my suggestion is try to make quality posts over the forum on which must be related to the OP.

sometimes newbie just reply on quote in other forum to gain activity its not bad but always base on the topic that they will be on relying thats all

someone need a critics and suggestion to develop their topics sometimes
generally the newbie need some suggestion too, because their knowledge about topics in the forum have to learn and find out the problem and then try to solve it.

It's not good advice. You can quote everyone's posts. But make quotes only when you have to say something important or want to add your minds to discussion and don't repeat what was already said. It's good advice not to quote pyramids - quotes which consists from multiple posts because it makes threads messy. Quote only part of text that you want to answer.

but don't do spam.
Go to the bitcoin forum
then go to any topic
then you see post right qoute button
if you want to reply you will go to post bottom. then you will see  reply|watch etc
here you can reply.

I think you can, you just can't send personal messages if your still a newbie but other than that you can quote or reply any discussion here at bitcointalk.

Yes of course you can. All members of this forum can quote and reply on this forum, lower ranked members will just have to wait longer to post again.

Rank in this forum only specifies what you can get or participate to some campaigns or bounties. But asking and answering questions is allowed to everyone here in this forum.
