It's not like memory bandwidth or compute power is increased so I'm not sure about the advantages, aside from getting it earlier.

Imo, maybe spend half to 3/4 of your budget on Rx 570 4gb. It could be 2 months before we get our hands on vega, and our rx 570s will already be 70% Roi. Personally I will be pre-ordering Vega if the price to Tflops is right. Some algos will be favouring compute cards and some will be favouring the Gaming ones. But the economy of resell is always in favour of gamming cards.
