Title: Paying a fee to someone who can boost this transaction Post by: AgnO5 on May 19, 2017, 01:26:47 PM Hi,
I'm willing to pay a fee to someone who can boost this transaction to confirm faster. i don't know what's wrong with it ? maybe it's blockchain problem ?? https://blockchain.info/fr/tx/53a460f122b9031c681d4e105df9d228c65a92e77d781bc04e5f6291f7f1bd98 Thanks Title: Re: Paying a fee to someone who can boost this transaction Post by: pedrog on May 19, 2017, 01:31:50 PM Check this topic:

Title: Re: Paying a fee to someone who can boost this transaction Post by: erikalui on May 19, 2017, 01:32:30 PM Try to add your transaction to viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ at sharp 2:00:00 PM forum time as the accelerator accepts maximum 100 transactions every hour and this capacity is filled in the first 1-2 minutes. This will help your transaction to be added to the viabtc pool to get confirmed.

You can check https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ in the future to see what a good transaction fee is before sending. Like erikalui said, you can submit it to viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ and get their pool to confirm it for you. I'll try to do it for you as well, once the next hour begins. Your transaction should get confirmed within 24 hours. There’s a bunch of people that have used small transaction fees and their transaction went through successfully, so don’t worry if someone tells you that you need to spend more in order to get your transaction 100% confirmed. Bitcoin is not meant to get spent every other second from just a single account so the transaction fee shouldn’t cost that much. Does it mean they do keep on mining at least one block every hour ? But block explorers are not confirming the same. When viaBTC is not mining blocks every hour, how it will be possible for them to free the slots for new transactions every hour ?I have faced the error for filled but I waited and randomly tried after some 5 to 6 hours and got my tx included for acceleration. Is it just a coincidence ? Is it just a coincidence ? Yes as I myself tried this with my transaction that was pending since 4 days. I had paid 26 sats/byte by mistake and then kept checking viabtc but I couldn't submit my transaction due to the limit being reached. I then waited for the next hour to begin on the 4th day and it succeeded in getting confirmed within 5-6 hours. If you try it within 1-2 seconds of every hour, you will succeed in accelerating your transaction. Title: Re: Paying a fee to someone who can boost this transaction Post by: mobnepal on May 19, 2017, 05:41:21 PM You can use free service provided by viabtc https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
to boost your transaction without paying any extra fees but you have to be first 100 people to submit transaction within 1 hour time window. (Resets every UTC hour). Title: Re: Paying a fee to someone who can boost this transaction Post by: Winner on May 19, 2017, 06:48:37 PM AgnO5, your transaction is confirmed now.

Instead of posting spam you should actually try to read up on what's going on instead of just viewing the original post. Thanks for the help though. Just a FYI to you because people notice when a new post is found within a thread, people actually care. Title: Re: Paying a fee to someone who can boost this transaction Post by: grermezter on May 19, 2017, 09:20:39 PM I paid a $2 dollar fee for an transaction and its not been confirmed. I hope something is done about this really soon. Its very frustrating.

Now looks like you have to look for the recommended fee, that is growing, then add 25% more at least, or be surprised when you paid some dollars in fees and the transactions is stuck for hours or more.

That's roughly 0.001 BTC, which would be ~500 Satoshis/byte, assuming one input and one output, which should have been confirmed already. Is there a large number of inputs/outputs? Fees are usually sorted by miners by fee per byte, so the fact that you paid 2$ is somewhat irrelevant. Things are getting uglier every day. Now looks like you have to look for the recommended fee, that is growing, then add 25% more at least, or be surprised when you paid some dollars in fees and the transactions is stuck for hours or more. Not really, I've paid recommended fees and usually get it confirmed within 4 blocks.
