We have to decide on which algortihm and method(s) we will use for mining. Anti ASIC or ASIC friendly? Do we want a proof of stake coin? What other "proofs" should we implement? To constantly innovate we could put a team of (full-time) developers behind the cryptocurrency. Yes but that doesn't just happen it takes patience and strategy. Studying and some luck that is what you need. I like to see an active and dedicated Dev behind a coin I'm investing in I won't bother otherwise. Also get in early !!
