Looking to make my first AltCoin investment and currently wavering between ARK an XRP...

Help me chose  :)

I think ark will be suitable for long term because it is a new coin and it has an opportunity to x10 after 1 year or more. On the other hand, ripple is very high now and it will be very hard to double the xrp prices at the moment. In about 1 year, I believe that no coin can surpass the bitcoin marketcap and therefore, it will be very hard for xrp to achieve $1 in the less than 2 years.

ark is better than ripple,,
ripple price is can be manipulated by the dev,,
because as i know XRP is centralized cryptocurrency

xrp is good coin and good investment but this now xrp price is very high
but ark price is same above and over ico price, so xrp still above ark

XRP is a scam.

Banks are not even going to be using XRP.

They will be using the "tech" behind XRP.

So buy ARK and hold.

You will be very very rich.

What's a realistic value for ARK in your opinion 2-3 years down the line?

XRP is not seeing any more massive growth and as a token, it is over valued now. Too many people bought into it under the pure logic of banks means it is here to stay and it might pass BTC when forgetting why BTC is valuable and that is decentralization. A centralized cryptocurrency is nothing more than glorified online banking sending numbers from account to account.

Xrp : over valued, massive pump due to flow of uptrend

Ark : okayish price currently, break thru ATH of 30k satoshi from its support at 7k satoshi, price at 10k+~
Real platform uses has not started, expect a good price upward time by time
100M~ supply

it is still look like good to invest in xrp, although the the price of XRP is really trading a little high, but still i think they have the potential to increase more and hope to get good profit from it. but you just need to wait for some good time, so as that the price can raise and can give you profit.

But if my bank use Rippe I can change it to XRP right?
Then XRP can be usefull.

It seems that people here clearly say to you with a post and give this ARK Altcoin answer for you to invest. Because ARK is a very good coin compared to XRP. In the future, again I remind you if you want to invest in the long term should choose altcoin in ARK.

I choose Ripple.

I like Ark but it looks to Risky for me.

XRP is no platform but ARK is. Ark may have a good value later if you kept holding it and soon when its platform are finally populated like waves. they are currently doing Blockpool so wait for it and see if ARK price burst too.

Split your bitcoins and choose multiple coins.
Dont put your all money on one.

NEM or Iconomi?

NEM is a multi feature coin with Japanese adoption underway. It will grow more

Iconomi, I never looked at closely but the prospect based on what I saw seems Ponzi like when you can just hold some and gain money. I can't really speak on it

as a lot people already mentioned. i would go for ark. (does not mean that ripple will not have a great future)

If I had to choose between Ark and XRP, I'd better choose Ark for investing, because Ark already looks very good and qualified in the market, they are very active to play in volume and the selling price is very good in trading.

You asking this question on May 20 and the price per ARK is $0.20, the price per ARK now is $0.70 so almost triple your money.
Next month the price per ARK should be around $2.00, ask yourself how is Ripple doing? I think Ripple will going nowhere for a very long time.

I'm going with both why do I have to pick one or the other?

So I'm investing in both as should you. That way you hedge your bets
