Fairbrix might be needing a pool soon if people keep jumping aboard, then also Tenebrix once people see how well they do with Fairbrix and look for more nice easy coins to mine.

I am mostly concerned that someone with a GPU might start mining them, making it hard for the CPU folk who have had a nice long run without any GPU folk bothering them yet...

YACoin!! It's now the most profitable Altcoin on http://coinchoose.com/.

Pretty sure that's a wrong reading as the actual block reward is not 100 anymore.

YACoin!! It's now the most profitable Altcoin on http://coinchoose.com/.

so far as i can see is the reward of YAC not correctly measured, because it is on CoinChoose "100", but in reality 17.9 or less ;)

but this is - for the most miner - an extra go beside the gpu-mining and with its extra-go it has to mined with a P2Pool - no doubt - to have more choice in pools - and you have the difficulty of 7.72 - too high for solo-mining

YAC - yeah - please add it soon to your P2Pools :)

BBQCoin! There is a rumor going around that when it died, God himself recompiled the code.

Can anyone verify that Mincoin is working properly?

I have no way to test with Scrypt.

Thank you.

thrown cpu minerd on it, shares are flying in, works very fast & smooth, loads of rejects though

edit : with loads, i mean 80% :)

Edit 2 : restarted, seems better now, 97.442% valid

That generally happens with new P2Pool nodes.

Thank you, I can see you on there now.

My pleasure, looks like it evened out already, will let it run for a few hours so you can get some useful data :)

Edit : do you want me to throw my Geforce in for a few minutes too to see how it handles > 100 khash/sec ?

MNC looks to be holding its own, switching back to cpu mining for a few hours :)

will test the BBQ one now too :)

EDit : :BBQ pool works too, not with preconfigured settings with cudaminer, works fine with autotune, perhaps i was pushing a bit too hard while it's new :)

Excellent, you rock!

I am going to bed!

Have a good one!

Thank you for providing 2 new pools on short notice :)

Has PPC been added, I have not found a public PPC p2pool yet.

I was told that PPCoin will not work with P2Pool because it is a Proof of Stake coin and not Proof of Work.

I would love to add it but it's just not available.

Very sorry.  :'(

YAC and Namecoin are both PoS aren't they? Both are derived from PPCoin code, and they have p2pools

I am not 100% sure.

I will look into it.

I need to think about another hosting solution, dedicated servers aren't cutting it in terms of RAM usage.

The more miners, the more RAM P2Pool eats up.

So I really need to find a new solution prior to setting up anymore altcoins.
